Yes, you are correct! As I mentioned in the video at 8:01 Nail polisher is a better option, but I don't have nail polisher so I just use thinner instead.

I got those wheels when I was living in Hong Kong, but you can try Aliexpress, there are many 1/64 wheels available and very cheap too!
It would have been easier painting the body kit off the car but pretty cool I'm gonna try it on my supra
