Most of us didn't though, labour have a whopping @20% voter mandate, it's just that the majority didn't vote at all.
Hitchens argument was vote tactically against who you don't want. If you don't want Labour and the sole realistic way of doing that in your constituency were the Tories, then hold you nose and place an X. His concern was the natural reaction to want to get the Tories out would end up with this social engineering so and so in office.

I voted reform but I never realised this guy would be so bad. It's horrific his lack of leadership, the hypocrisy, the corruption and his placing people he knows into safe seats and high powered roles in government.
They wont take the time to get away from lamestream media and think for themselves, spend some time looking into Reform who have excellent policies, nothing there not to like but unlike the past for some reason these Labour voters are set in their ways and believe the narrative.
A government with only 34% of the vote shouldn't be able to continue- in any normal country they would have to form a coalition and would have been abandoned by their coalition partners by now.
