    To help the M stand out you could shift a couple of the tan masonry profile bricks toward the center to help break up the lines of the M.
    Looks cool!

      That's a good idea actually! Thanks a lot!

    Great idea Jakob! Every good Lego city should have a supermarket! I like @blockheadUK's suggestions as well! 👍

      Thanks! Yeah, BlockheadUK is definitely onto something :-) Thanks a lot!

    Looks great. I was thinking to add a little detail of lamps on the pillars between the windows or advertising.
    I also like the loading dock idea and you could take inspiration from the new official Lego supermarket set.

      Oh yeah, I think I have some stickers that may be very relevant! And I'm definitely going to take a look at the official set - it's a very good idea! Thanks a ton 😊

      Thanks! Yeah, I agree these work way better than the first ones! That's what's great about LEGO - you can always modify:-D

    Very nice supermarket - the Bakersville minifigs won’t go hungry now!
    I have a couple of suggestions - first you could use each window to showcase different foods like meat, fish, bread etc. If you have big enough window displays you may not need to add much detail further back if you don’t want to - at least to begin with. Also, I am thinking perhaps the arches on the right of the main door could be where the stockroom is, so perhaps you could add some big roller doors to a couple of them (grille profile bricks could work here if you don’t have a suitable door)

      Those are great suggestions! I really like the loading bay idea - I hadn't thought about that at all! Thanks Caz - 😊

    Hey Jakob: I'm loving your B-Mart! Just so you know. I don't always comment but I wanted to tell you now how much I am enjoying your city rebuild. I am often drawn to the manner in which you uniquely make a building, a thing of art. I'm really liking the creation of layers in your city and some of the work in my new city (this is my 3rd) will be based on your laying processes.

      Thanks a lot STAKAB - layers are really good for getting some height and depth in a city :-D I like working with that aspect of the city!

    Nice BB styled super market. And a couple of suggestions I had are already made by Caz. The only thing extra is that I would make better visible where the entrance is . 👍😊

    • @BrickBakery
      @BrickBakery  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah Caz really made some good suggestions! Maybe you are right - the entrance isn't too obvious right now - thanks! :-)

    if anything minifigs in a lego city need to eat. cool to see a custom food mart. i have a very small food mart in my lego town. run by apu. you have to think outside the box to fit in as much as you can in a lego city.

      Indeed! Small spaces leads to big creativity 👌

    Maybe a secret bar 🍺 since bar is more prominent in the letters

    And not sure how to attach it upside down … but a 1x2 45° slope roof peak brick… bricklink 3044 … could give you the center downward point of the M.

    • @BrickBakery
      @BrickBakery  2 роки тому

      Ohhhhh, yeah, maybe I have one in red even!? Maybe building it all upside down?! Hmm, I'll have to think about it! We'll spotted! Thanks a bunch 😀

    I like B-Mart! How would the m look if you used a 1x2 plate instead of the brick? Or maybe 2 plates? An interior would be brilliant! Will you be adding lights?

    • @BrickBakery
      @BrickBakery  2 роки тому +1

      I'm not completely sure what part of the build you are suggesting I use plates instead of bricks? Lights is something I'm seriously considering for this one. I'm trying to find a cheap solution though 😄

      @@BrickBakery for the M in B-Mart in the middle where the two arch pieces meet. It looks like you used a brick. I was wondering what it would like using one or two plates.

    • @BrickBakery
      @BrickBakery  2 роки тому +1

      @@FabBlondiesBricks hmm, it's actually already a plate! Odd that it looks like a brick?! 🤔 But it's a great suggestion all the same 😄

    I’m now curious about how B-mart handles back stock, is it next door to the building or built into the building.

    • @BrickBakery

      This will be answered on Monday:-D

    I just want to know if B-Mart has good prices on LEGO sets!!

    • @BrickBakery

      In Bakersville, LEGO is laughably overpriced... naturally! 😄

    My supermarket is 48x144 studs double levels and it’s taking me 5 years to build because I’m procrastinating

    • @BrickBakery
      @BrickBakery  2 роки тому

      Quite a bit bigger than mine! Completely understandable that you'd be a while making it :-)
