Thank you so much for sharing this talk. Very honest and informative, you guys evidently respect your own’s and each other’s professions, time and dedication. Pleasure to listen to and learn from it
Amazing video. I now know I am not crazy after all. I don't really like the idea of doing sketches just like David and I would spend hours drafting patterns and spend more hours looking for ways to perfect the patterns. I guess I just love the idea of the technical side of making garments. I think I can call myself an all round freelance . I make my patterns, cut out fabric and make up garments. I have been going through all your videos and I am so thrilled with all the information available, wow!! I just want to say thanks so much Heidi for being this generous. I am actually having all kinds of thoughts of how to re brand my sewing business.
I love what you're doing! This episode is extremely helpful. There isn't a lot of people out here giving info on the different careers in the fashion industry, because not everyone wants to be a designer, stylist, fashion editor etc. which by the ways are the most talked about careers. You really have to dig and research if what you want to do even exist in the industry. Again, thank you Heidi!
Loved this video. It's always interesting to hear how people find their "right fit" as a career. Okay, so David makes the "right fit" as a pattern maker. I liked learning a bit about his business, customers and work ethic. Thanks Heidi, for another wonderful video. Love them!!!!
