    It feels rather safe to say that the San Francisco 49ers were one of the top favorites in many peoples’ eyes to make a lot of noise throughout the 2023 NFL season. And after seeing the 49ers performances against the Steelers, Rams, and now the New York Giants, you can definitely see why this was the case. But between everything we knew to expect, whether it had to do with the 49ers offense or defense, there’s still some new tricks up their sleeve that are making them even more unbeatable in 2023.
    To start with the 49ers offense, there weren’t many questions coming into this season from Niners regarding Brock Purdy, but we’ve seen Kyle Shanahan test the limits he will be able to go with this offense early. And by heavily using running backs Christian McCaffrey & Elijah Mitchell, along with the WR room weapons of Deebo Samuel, Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, Ray-Ray McCloud, George Kittle, and even rookie Ronnie Bell so far, Shanahan’s two way versatility might’ve expanded even further with a surprising increased air attack.
    Then with the 49ers defense, it’s safe to say they’ve picked up right where they left off, even with room still for improvement. And with new additions in guys like Clelin Ferrell & Javon Hargrave, along with new DC Steve Wilks to pair along Nick Bosa, Arik Armstead, Dre Greenlaw, Fred Warner, Charvarius Ward, Talanoa Hufanga, etc, this could be one of the greatest all-around NFL defenses we’ve seen in years.
    This video includes 2023 San Francisco 49ers highlights, also including topics like San francisco 49ers 2023, san francisco 49ers vs new york giants, 49ers vs giants highlights, 49ers live, 49ers full game, brock purdy 49ers highlights, cmc 49ers sf 49ers news today, san francisco 49ers injury news, christian mccaffrey 49ers highlights, deebo samuel 49ers highlights, george kittle 49ers highlights, brandon aiyuk injury news, 49ers injury news, 49ers espn, 49ers undisputed, 49ers vs giants livestream, 49ers practice, 49ers walk, 49ers brick by brick, 49ers live game, 49ers interview, 49ers vs giants reaction, 49ers post game, 49ers new york giants, elijah mitchell 49ers, ronnie bell 49ers, 49ers game, sf news, nick bosa highlights, kyle shanahan interview, etc, which I do not own ANY of the rights to whatsoever, as these are intended to be used under the guidelines of fair use through UA-cam.

    As a San Francisco 49ers fan, what surprised me the most was their acquisition of a new rookie wide receiver who's already making an impact big time, in Ronnie Bell.
    There isn't or hasn't been a team in the NFL that is as totally and completely stacked with HELLA big time, playmaker talent, on both sides of the ball, as the 49ers, in at least 25-30 years.
    Not even the Colts or the Patriots or the Chiefs.
    Go Niners!!!!!!!!
    If they are able to somehow miraculously stay relatively injury free this season, there is no doubt that they will win every single game, including this Super Bowl, just like the 1972 Dolphins. The only NFL team who has ever done that in the history of the NFL.
    After the past 3 heartbreaking NFC championship games, no one or nothing is going to stop them from winning the Super Bowl this year. That's what's fueling this team this year. They are super pissed off. And they are going to take it out on every opposing player that they face.

Very little pre-snap reads need to be made for the QB, fairly simple route schemes for an NFL offense but where it is complex is for the defense to figure out because all the different personel, formations and pre-snap movements that happen. Now I don't know if any of this true, I'm not some guru on this stuff and it doesn't matter if it is simple or complex, it's working and that's all that matters. He had some struggles a bit in the first quarter with the heavy blitzing (and a few blocking assignments were missed). He also missed a swing pass to Deebo where Deebo didn't help him out - sometimes Brock will throw the ball to where he wants the receiver to go - watch his swing passes to McCaffrey - but Deebo stayed wide and then had to reach for it instead of stepping into where the ball was going, so that went down as an INC. From late first quarter onward, though, Brock's poise shined and he was excellent. Great throws to Ronnie Bell and Deebo for TDs in the face of a heavy rush.

    Although I’m still worried about CMC’s health long term, he is a great asset to have. The fact that Mitchell is doing well as his partner at the position is making it even more exciting. Jennings, Aiyuk, Samuel and Kittle are all proven players. Jennings might not get much attention from casuals but the dude has stepped up whenever they need him to. The lines look great on both sides of the ball, special teams is pretty good as well. I’m just hoping that Purdy can make improvements throughout the season. Yes he’s a serviceable QB no he doesn’t make all that many BIG mistakes, which was Jimmy’s main problem besides health. I really feel that Brock Purdy can be really good. Mainly because he’s just a good decision maker. But I don’t believe he’s an MVP caliber player, definitely not yet. He still has a lot to prove mainly just by continuing to play at or above the level he’s currently playing at. So only time will tell if he continues to improve. Im a 49ers fan so obviously I’m rooting for him. I’m just realistic in knowing that football is a long and arduous game. The end of the season could look completely different. Just like we’ve had years where we start off terrible the first 3 or 4 games and then end up in an NFC Championship game or something lol. So I’m excited but I also know how crazy and unpredictable this game and players health can be. So I’m praying it stays going this well, but I have a smidge or cynicism.

    Good video but one major thing missing from the video. Most of what we’re seeing from the Niners offense has always been in Kyles playbook but he was never able to use it because of the limitations with Jimmy G at QB. We saw some of this when he was with on the Texans and Falcons. Purdy is already maxed out physically on his frame so we probably won’t ever see him new much better on the deep ball but he dominates from 0-25. Also his footwork is also elite as he is able to slide around in the pocket to create a second more of time to create plays.

It seems like every time SF has the ball; the game plan is to march down the field as if they have 2:00 minutes on the clock; meaning they are unpredictable and using the whole field. This makes defenses running around not knowing what to expect. Also; the fact that the first three games of the season have all been wins with thirty points is interesting. We should expect to see as the offensive game gets better to see more domination. Hopefully; the niners will remain healthy, injury free and be ready to avenge the 1/29/23 NFC championship rematch on 12/3/23 against the Eagles in Philadelphia; another exceptional team expected to also dominate. As for the rest of the season should be fun to watch.

    Since there’s not much to complain about with Purdy, people are saying his deep ball is crap. But we’ve seen some spectacular catches, and some misses. So what gives?
    It’s target practice, and his accuracy will only go up. He’s a silent killer, and in about 3-4 more weeks he’ll close that gap. If they stay healthy, there will be no Will Smith to come to the rescue. It’s game over. Yes, we’re not watching Independence Day; it’s Aliens, and it’ll be a blood bath.

    • @rhmayer1
      @rhmayer1 8 місяців тому +2

      Even if he's "just" thriving off the talent around him, he's doing it with poise and without making mistakes, costly ones anyway. 4 TD's, 0 INT's over 91 attempts for 67.0% and 106.3 Passer Rating (#5). He's doing a superb job of not blowing it and allowing those other stars to thrive. That alone, in this league, is impressive. Mind you, he's done it now for 9 regular season games in a row, with only 1 of those games that he didn't throw 2 TD's. I think this is the worst that you can say about him - that he didn't blow it and was good at allowing the other stars to shine. The best you can say? We can't. We haven't got a clue yet where this young player's ceiling is.

      @@rhmayer1 Purdy definitely has talent we can’t deny that. My comment is regards to how good he is. Is he average, above average, pro bowler? Every QB in the nfl can’t do what he is doing. But, there are some that if you put in his position can do the same or better. The talent around him is insane and also the offense is optimized to the max by the coaches to get the most out of all these talented players. This is really a pointless conversation because we can’t switch him to another team to see how he would play.

    • @rhmayer1
      @rhmayer1 8 місяців тому +2

      @@1SuperD1 Yeah, we just can't say at this point. I'm a big fan, but we gotta be honest. We haven't seen how he handles real adversity yet. We haven't seen how he plays with lots of starters out, injured. We haven't seen how he plays after throwing a couple of bad INT's. Does he spiral down and get emotional, like so many other even good QB's like Dak Prescott and Aaron Rodgers? Or does he have a short memory like Jimmy, who would throw a bad INT or two and then come right back and throw a string of beauties - unemotional, with a very short memory? Can he lead a team back from a deep deficit in a crucial game like Jimmy did? I recall that 2021 Wk18 Rams game when Jimmy threw 2 INT's and we were down 17 points - 3 scores, and if we lost that game we were out of the playoffs. Jimmy led us back to win and we got into the playoffs as the #7 seed, and went on to beat the #3 and #1 seeds. I don't mean to compare Brock to Jimmy. They have different strengths and weaknesses. Just saying that although he's played great so far, he hasn't really had any real adversity to deal with. He came in late last year, after the team's injuries were healed, after the defense became #1, after CMC had joined and played a number of games. The winning streak was already underway with 4 straight wins, 3 that were blow-outs. He was handed a developed and polished playoff-bound team on a silver platter. He didn't need to deal with any challenges other than his own play. So yeah - he's great so far, but we won't really know what we have - how good he is - until we see him under real adversity. But I have confidence that even after a game loss, it will be good for him. He'll learn a lot and it will be a catalyst for him taking his next step up.

      @@rhmayer1 If he didn’t get injured I believe we would’ve gotten our answer in the playoffs. The 49ers definitely have the most talented team. I would’ve liked to see how far they could go.

      The dude is a winner. He steps up under pressure. What more do you need from a qb?

    When I look at this I am somehow thinking "Stomp" the performance art group moves all over, but manages to keep a beat with whatever comes to hand. I think this is a team on offense or defense that is well drilled and somehow is ticking over at the same pace. No one seems to be a superstar but all of them perform at a very high level together.

    In my opinion, if you're getting the job done it doesn't matter if you can throw the ball 60 yards and be accurate. 😊

    The biggest risk is purdy getting injured. You need a good qb to run that offense and without purdy.. good luck

    Without a doubt the Niners are the most talented team in the NFL! Only injuries can hold them back!
