But there is a huge difference between playing a couple riffs in your basement and doing a full show with one of the worlds top progressive metal bands. Steve is primarily a guitar player. He is a talented guitar player but I would be shocked if he was be a serious choice to play guitar for Dragonforce. I wish him the best. But, he had better have a lot more experience and skill at playing the bass than he has let on if he is not going to turn into joke.
As much as i like the much “happier” aesthetic you guys have been doing since reaching into infinity, do you think you’ll ever return to a darker type of sound like in inhuman rampage? I think marc’s voice would sound great for that sort of stuff!
There is less depth in his voice than most of the great power metal vocalists have its kinda higher pitched especially the falsetto i do not think that would suit him at all (coming from someone with classic training of the voice / musician) but we will see
