Jotaro was one single word away from losing, and no amount of plot armour would have saved him, he didn't rely on random bullshit saving him, he pushed his opponent into a figurative corner till he fainted, and won using his ability to bluff, and his intellect.
@@andrewshaw6921 The fight was GETTING requiem. No amount of plot armour would have saved Giorno if him and the Jo-bros didn't get the Stand Arrow to Giorno. It would be a different story if he STARTED the fight with GER, but he only got it at the end, and only because they held on by the skin of their teeth to get it. Giorno and the Jo-bros win because they put everything on the line, thought on their feet, made sacrifices, and fought smart. If they didn't, King Crimson could solo all of them without the arrow. It's good writing, because the most broken "I win" button of a stand in the series is only obtained at the end of the fight through considerable loss, and is never used after that, meaning it never spoiled any fights.

At this point, Darby figured that he would have to tell them about Dio's stand if he called, which is basically a death sentence; so in his panic, while he tried to call, he just couldn't risk his own life. The amazing thing about this fight is that D'arby had no option but to fold, even if he won, If Dio knew that D'arby could have ratted out his secret D'arby would be dead anyways
Iggy, -gone- *farts*
nah bro iggy would whip everyones ass frfr
BEST theme in the soundtrack.
Young D'arby: *puts in F-MEGA*
D'arby: *wakes up from stroke* RRRRRRRRAAACCCEE?!
Version 2 of rrrrrrrrrrraise
"Ca... C- C- Ca- C- C-C-C-" "I-I cant! I'm terrified! I Can't Speak!", And at that point was where jotaro scared the living shit out of a gambler so much, he aged quicker.
The only writer that can make bets, video games and (most importantly) posing intimidating is Araki. This is reflected in the anime too, with all the cool osts. Thank you David Productions for understanding JoJo's premise and thank you Araki-sensei for creating this anime.
A very special and wonderful ost, one of the most beautiful Jojo osts, especially the part in which Arabic music enters and is in harmony with the music.
When the two kids with a 100% grade are in the same competition
Finally found it after so long; i kept looking on youtube for this song and all i ever found was the "stardust crusaders" ost. I love that but this with the extra drums is just so much better
TheRealDal me too!
Yeah same it interested me when it played at the part where jotaro beats dio
fun fact: this is the iteration of jotaro’s theme that plays at the very end when jotaro kills dio, about here: 2:38
God this version of Jotaro's theme fucking SLAPS
IMO, this is the FAR SUPERIOR version of Stardust Crusaders
(just my opinion)
The drums in the background make it so much better
Yes it is
its not in my opinion
Great theme to Egyptian Arc. especially since first 30seconds
Everyone is out here talking about D'Arby but this is also the song that plays when DIO gets killed by Jotaro.
"Jotaro, if your that confident, then that means you must have a very strong hand you believe you can win against D'arby to go all in. I can believe in this hand right? YOU ARE SURE TO WIN RIGHT JOTAROOOO!" (Breathing intensifies)
2:38 "WHAAAAAAT? B-BUT I'M DIO"
Guilherme Brasil KONO DIO GAAAAAA
I AM THE IMMORTAL DIO
I AM DIO
*EXPLODES*
@@WarVeteran213 if I wait until dawn you'll disenagrate.
Dio, there's only one reason you lost.
One simple reason.
Yoshikage Kira you really pissed me off
2:38 "KONO DIIIIIOOOOOOO DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" -DIO, 1988, bizarre winter
*ga
@@cack-yo-weennormieyaki3094 ga or did you even realise something
Still one of my favorite battles in the whole series. Not much stand action and mostly just raw bluffing and pure wit. Brilliantly done Araki
The strength of Star Platinum is no match for the strength of the bluff
STAND : Jotaro Kujo
STAND USER: Star Platinum
ABILITY: Very menacing serious eyes
Jotaro most op stand
I love the back and forth between d’arby and jotaro represented in the song
*sounds of The World’s leg cracking*
sounds of plot armour
This might just be my favourite thing on the OST
Everyone is mentioning this theme being played during the D’Arby confrontations, but remember when this was played when DIO was being blown up for a couple of seconds. That scene is hella satisfying. Gives me goosebumps every time.
People talk about il vento d’oro or Bloody Stream all the time, but can we just talk about how powerful 0:34 is?
R-R-R-R-R-R-R-R-RAISE
KONO DIO DAAAAA KONNOOOOOOOO DIOO DAAAAAAAAA
Uggh...
DIO hi dad
YES! YES!
YES!
YES! YES!
Wait so _this_ is the Stardust Crusaders theme that plays when DIO dies?
@@foldabotZ Yup.
Love how when DIO dies, Jotaro just stands there mildly annoyed at him.
From 0:06 to 0:20 is my favorite, does anyone know what instrument was used for that part?
+HoloSlayer looks like a persian tar to me. A bit overdrived and reverberated, maybe.
+HoloSlayer no, don't listen to previous me. It's a rebab, a single string bowed instrument.
MD Hyena Oh wow, I can hear the resemblance. Thanks a bunch! :)
+MD Hyena overdrive?
DID YOU JUST SAY, "HAMON OVERDRIVE?"
Same here, please let us know if you can find it
I swear dude this is the best song in the whole show just the first 20 seconds alone
'I bet my mother's soul' and jotaro became my favourite anime character
Lol
Jotaro a.k.a the man who wagered his mom's soul.
Well there is no mean for the travel if they all died so yeah she will die too
Honestly Jotaro not even looking at his set of cards to not feel/show any stress was such a smart thing. He noticed how it's possible to win by just pushing the opponent to internally admit defeat, and used it. Dude just bet on EVERYTHING, even his mother's life, and won with confidence. It was one of the coolest moments of Stardust crusaders
Walks into casino hears Darby theme “aww shit here we go again”
2:25 When you're finally beating that one player online who always beats you in a fighting game
*Yare Yare... Now you've done it.*
More like when you've perfectly downloaded your opponent
You fool! 2C! Now, 214AA! 236AA! Now, RETIIIIRRRRRREEEEEE!
I love the fact that Jolyne didn't want to gamble in prison, with the chance to win an easy money. On the other hand, you have Jotaro, who, in a random bar, bet his mother soul on a single game
This will always be my favorite version of Jotaro's theme
If you think about it, darby is one word away from killing the entire joestar family
0:24 those jazz/funk chord extension jabs absolutely slap 🔥
Reminds me of some dope level music from an old Ratchet and Clank level, and that’s a good thing.
By far my favorite JoJo ost, likely because it plays during two of the best fights in the series.
2:25 "NAAAANIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?!?!?!?!" Dio when getting split in half
Actually it's 2:38
@@aarontheaviationaddict3643 yes
One of the greatest JoJo battles didn’t even have a single punch thrown.
alot of people do not know this, but when jotaro defeats dio, this at 2:38 plays, not stardust crusaders
was looking for this for so long
Who will win?
Professional Poker player who has to get so many souls
or
some high school boi
HOW IS THIS NOT ON SPOTIFY???
It is now bb, along with some of the others!
0:07 best part
Easily one of the best Jojo songs
Yugo Kanno is such a music artist
i have been looking for this
Jotaro's theme : Who are you ?
Kakero : *im you but better*
Who needs a stand when you can turn up your *menacing* levels high enough to literally give someone a stroke
i really love how jojo's badass theme keeps getting cut off. even when it isnt, its still a tad... off. really sells the feeling of false confidence.
You can tell how the fight plays out just by the music... literally gold
0:24 i love this part
I don’t care that jotaro isn’t even my favorite jojo, this is the single best scene in the franchise. Like this thing is a microchasm of what makes jojo awesome
I like to think that this is jotaro's theme when he can fully control his time stops
Me: **Takes one card from the deck and puts it in a different place**
*This Song: Starts playing*
You mean shuffling or cheating?
Both.
Kakyoin, Advol, Holly and Jotaro’s soul, he really has gone all in
2:38
"NA...
NAAAAAAAAAAANIIIIII?!
BA-BAKANA KONO DIO DA...
KONO DIOOOOO DAAAAAAAA"
Must insist, best boss fight in anime history.
Anyone who wants this on their Spotify list the song is called “bluff wo kakero”
THANK YOU!!! I bought UA-cam premium just to download this song.
