Makes me feel better to know I'm doing the right thing by not getting in when a stock is skyrocketing. But it's still tough not to get frustrated that I seem to keep missing opportunities that way LOL.
Just started day trading and have watched scores of these videos by others. Yours are very basic, but easily the most informative and easy to understand. Thanks.
I love the chalk board trainings and live trades I really love this stuff clay , I would be pissed if you ever quit doing all of these things thank you 🙏
Love this video! If you can do a video where you aggregate all the factors that we should look at before BUYING and SELLING stocks then that would be beyond fantastic! Thank you!!
Best darn video on youtube on "when to buy". You were wrong at the beginning when you said that this video wasnt going to be gold. That was a nugget if i ever saw one. Thanks.
I do in it's been very useful for me , I haven't start trading yet but doing my homework and I would like to start soon . Thank you again for all the time and effort you put to make all the videos wish you happiness and day after day success.
This is definitely one of the best strategies that works for trading or building a long term position. I only buy large caps on red days/weeks. If I can get AAPL, WMT, MSFT at a 3-5% discount while on a uptrend or even near longer term support I buy all I can
What are the top trading patterns you would recommend. Please advise. I am currently using ascending and descending triangles. I am also in the process of learning candle stick and head and shoulder pattern. Can wait to see you at the webinar!
clay so what if you bought at the pullback and it keeps going upwards do you sell for profit then buy in again or you just let the stock do its thing to see where it's going to be at?.
Clay I love the way you teach man. Started trading again in March and was doing well then the more I studied the worse I got. Precisely because I was doing the opposite of how I started. This video brought me back in line with my original plan. Thank you so much for helping me remember how to trade properly and start to get profitable again. :)
clay, started following you a few weeks ago. this video is very good, basics. makes more sense than anything. thank you., also your daily top 10 tech.analysis is very informing, the charting is so important for support and resistance along with moving averages. keep them coming, it's a great tool to use.
This is so great and reinforces my approach to trading. Thank you! I was checking through your videos, do you have anything on implementing trailing stop losses? I want to make sure I fully understand how to appropriately use them.
I have been trading on plus500 for a bit to learn trading, I win a lot, more time then I loose, but one thing I don’t understand is when I want to buy at a certain rate, it doesn’t let me? as in you buy whereveee you want too and it doesn’t allow me to do that, e.g a market is 1.0808 it forces my “opening rate” to 1.0820 if you get what I mean? It’s hard to explain, what do u think? Thanks boss

Clay what if there's some catalyst that implies the stock will rocket as the market opens? Do you buy as its going up if you're confident it will stay going up or not even then?

watched the video, heard what u said and i agree not to buy a stock while its on the rise. tho im confused on what do to once its does take that dip down. just because it dropped for a second i still don't know what its going to do. could keep going down or go right back up. also shouldnt you look back a few minutes or so to see maybe the over all trend to get a better idea of what might happen. also if u do take a loss, instead of cutting your losses couldnt you hold it? maybe for the day or a day or two? or even longer? to at least not take as big or a loss or even make your money back? Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I'm really confused here, so it's best to buy stock when it's going down to lower the risk of losing money right? coz if you buy it when it kept going up, there's a risk that it will start to go down and would not go up in a certain time. But, what if when we bought it when it's going down or sideways and it's still going down? Wouldn't we still be losing money just with a lower risk?
@@claytrader oh okayy... Then I was understanding it correctly. I thought it was like some sort of "trick" to earn more hahaha. Thanks for the replyy it means a lot :)
hey man. new to trading. just wondering if you buy at the top, why can’t you just wait for the stock to just go back up a few days or so later and then sell it. thanks!

Basically when I buy as well I start off in the minus... I could be minus £-100 and it has to make it to profit but it takes forever
