- In this video, I share my experience with developing COVID for the third time and my Paxlovid experience as a treatment option. Despite getting quite sick during the acute phase of COVID, I was able to start swabbing negative for COVID within a day or two of taking Paxlovid, which was a huge relief. After a few days of treatment, my long COVID symptoms began to improve, including extreme fatigue, cognitive impairment, and body pain. I discuss the standard dosing and treatment for Paxlovid, as well as my personal experience with the medication. I’m on day four. Not sure if it was a placebo effect but about three hours after the first dose, my acute symptoms improved, I felt like myself, the muscle pain subsided. Day four, I feel well, some congestion and cough lingering but otherwise feeling well.

God the taste is awful
There’s two different prescriptions of paxlovid my dose was two pills in the morning and two at night. Purple and white packets. I notice some people take 3 pills am and 3 pm. I never had that bad taste but once it tasted like a sour grapefruit. No side effects at all from paxlovid felt better with prayer and the third day

You have dosage for people with kidney disease
I got bad diarrhea and vomiting on my third dose. Had to go to the ER because of dehydration and they told me to stop Paxlovid immediately.
Here I am in the same boat I don’t want another ER bill but besides knocking on deaths door I also have those sx. On day 3 of med and positive test . 1st time getting covid
Yeh pfizer is a complete lie. Shit is garbage. I was barfing up my guts for 2 hours during the night instead of sleeping

12 hours into Paxlovid and all my major covid symptoms are gone. Phew
I took Paxlovid and I feel as if it helped me substantially. I was able to get up from the bed and do things. Covid pain was bearable after 3 hours. On day 2 of Paxlovid

I'm taking it. That metallic taste is horrible. I drink a lot of water and I still feel it.
I am going to pick up my pills today at the Veterans Affairs. I hope I have a speedy recovery and no side effects.
Yes, felt better after 2nd day of taking it. I did have the metal taste in my mouth maybe after day 3 or 4, but it was brief - 2 hrs. No other side effects.
I'm taking it now. The metallic taste is unbearable. I can't get rid of it. It's making me want to throw up and making me loose my appetite

Unfortunately since Covid isn’t going anywhere a lot of people will be contracting it several times
I just finishes my last dose of paxlovid. It didn't help till day 3 and all I taste is vomit and my rectum is raw from the consistent painful bathroom situation which still makes me scream and cry. My lungs hurt so much this 3rd time around. I feel beyond worn out, I'm so tired and go back to work in 6 hours... not looking forward to that. Recovery for me is taking longer this time around.
Doctors are saying, after taking Paxlovid patients are still transmitting the COVID 19 virus to others even after their treatment.
The threat of the COVID virus comes back every year like the Flu.

That's good to hear because they say there are rebound symptoms in the vaccinated patients.
I felt ill on paxlovid but not anything major. I am hoping it helps with the long haul symptoms.

I’m on day 2 and fighting for my energy to return my eyes are blood shot red and my mouth taste like aspirin. This is my 4th time catching Covid my 7 year old has it now with me😢 I wanna get my head back

I took four days of paxlovid. Never felt more sick in my life. Lost all appetite. Weak. Muscle pain. Can’t function.
Maybe it’s the Covid?
Seems like that was the Covid and not the Paxlovid. I feel like people take Paxlovid and complain about side effects somehow forgetting that the entire reason they are on this medicine in the first place is due to being infected with Covid, an incredibly powerful virus.

Covid symptoms are better but the side effects of Paxlovid are way worse than the Covid symptoms for me. The diarrhea pain, and nausea is too much.
I took first dose and it’s expired and from China/India. Symptoms are not severe, still have lingering cough and lingering pain sweats chills boo but an improvement praise be expired meds
Rebound is an important issue to be considered and was not discussed at the time of my dr visit. Thank you for sharing this information which lead me to reading articles about half-life and rebound awareness

I'm 320lbs healthy heart and lungs I'm on day 2 only thing I notice is the medicine taste like Im sucking on aspirin flavored tic tacs the Aspirin flavor overwhelms anything I eat. Steak & Cheese tasted like aspirin sandwich but I feel WAY BETTER then I did yesterday
Well worth it for 5 days of that taste side effect!
