If you can put audio on a head, a great prank would be a note block buried in the shopping district that's proximity triggered and has a generic conversation. Something like;
"Oh, hey! How're you doin'? [pause for response] What's that? [...] Hold on. I can't hear you. Is it your mic or my audio? [...] Say again? I couldn't hear that either. [...] Ok, wait. I'm gonna try relogging". End of message.
Meanwhile, the other Hermit is whipping around going " _WHERE ARE YOU!?!_ "

@jacobgushue866 I live in Indiana and we have geodes in dry creek beds! I have quite the collection of quartz geodes. I hear they call the amethyst geodes thunder eggs out west!

fun fact: quartz geodes are not only real, they are one of the most common types of geodes in the world.
fun-er fact: amethyst is just quartz that appears purple due to trace amounts of iron trapped inside the crystal lattice of silicon oxide.

Looks like he's doing it with a camera account. I just found out recently it's *very possible* to do it with ReplayMod-even though ReplayMod recordings don't save audio, if you preview your camera path, you can record the audio from that in an external program and layer that onto the video in post.

Yes, but why go to a store and pay diamonds when you can just visit Impulse's junkyard and take as much as you want instead? It's funny how the whole permit thing was a genius idea that completely backfired for basically the same reason that made it genius. You can only go to one person to buy a particular item so that they each equally make a decent profit, but the problem is that you can only go to one person, and so everyone is targeting the redstone nerds who make their own farms for everything and they're willing to give out free handouts because they can't make a profit off the excess stuff they farm anyhow.
@@Ithenna Yep. I was hoping to see supplier deals spring up, but there hasn't been nearly as many of those as I'd expected. I think whoever has the gravel permit has yet to make a shop, for example (unless it's one of the Hermits I don't watch) but Impulse could easily have reached out to them and made a deal to supply them for a cut of the profits.
@@ruemistressofyeets Scar has gravel and sand I believe. But he's been a bit behind on the whole shop thing between building his train, trying to get his mob permit sorted out, and mining for 6 years underground when his health wasn't the best.
The mid roll ad cut off at Impulse saying “Let’s bring in…” and played an ad that opened “a wearable fitness watch with…” then I skipped the add and Impulse finished “…a bulldozer”. It was a funny little coincidence.
Ngl getting a free bulldozer with your watch is a pretty sweet deal

You could make the shop pair nicely with your neighbor by making a big QUARTZ sign out of basalt.

obsessed with you using a GLaDOS skin for your machine part heads. 10/10, this was a triumph.
also, shulkerplus lets you use a shulker in an anvil (or smithing table?) to customize whats on top. Its the other one that does it automatically.
Fun fact, Iskall actually commissioned ShulkerPlus from KaptainWutax for his Vault Hunters series!
To solve the issue with the names. consider placing the shulkers backwards so the swirly bit is sticking out! it'll resemble a deposit of some kind that the hermits can grab their quartz out of.

I love it, but also find it funny because a few weeks ago you were getting to a point where the youtuber voice was closer to like your natural chattering voice. The break set you back, lol! These death messages are real cool
Shulkers+ is the mod that handles displaying the items on the box itself, the mod was developed by Iskall and Wutax based on a datapack that Xisuma was playing around with.
Shulker Viewer meanwhile is the mod that displays all of the items inside a shulker in the inventory screen.
Both mods together are great tools for managing and keeping track of what's in a shulker.
I still think the kakashi death sequence hits hard and I think it was used really well going forward giving him the chance to get closure with someone he lost out of the massive number of people he lost growing up and it does a good job showing how his character changes going forward having finally received that closure

Loving the fun fact about quartz being ruined by heat. Just like obsidian it behaves the opposite way in Minecraft that it does irl
Quartz is actually quite common in geodes in real life. Amethyst is just quartz with mineral impurities that turn it purple. Amethyst is very often seen growing right next to “Smokey Quartz” which is grey, which might explain why the game turns glass into dark glass that blocks light when Amethyst is applied. There are other colors and associated names that Quartz is known by as well, including: citrine (yellow), rose quartz (pink), aventurine (green), carnelian (red), tiger’s eye (oranges and browns in layers with reflective qualities in some layers), milky (white), and others.
Side note, due to Native American cultural influence, geodes in the north west corner of the US are referred to as “Thunder Eggs,” in reference to the legendary “Thunderbird.”
You could use armor stand to put 2 quartz in a + (or X) shape in the geode like the amethyst cluster in an amethyst geode

These 'slower' timelapses you've been doing are my absolute FAVORITE thing!! So chill, and its almost like getting to see the highlights of someone painting a picture. You can see the work and thought that goes into the details. Now I always love a good super fast build mode, but getting to see it come together like this is fantastic.
Reminds me of those timelapses folks do of their painting projects, not a speed up version, but just... almost a highlight reel. :]

Instead of item frames for the quartz decorations in the shop, you could do invisible armor stands, so the quartz actually pops out. Not sure what the lag difference between the two ideas is, but I feel like it could look cool
As a mineralogy lover, I must say that geode looks awesome! Also it's pretty accurate to real life and I love it
I use the Peek mod, which I'm pretty sure is what Impulse uses, as well as X and I believe Etho. I think i learned about it from Impy. It's a shulker tooltip preview and the text/items on them. You can also use datastrings in the name to set an item that shows up and what the text says. My redstone box says "Redstone" on the front, but is named "'s Redstone Box. and shows a bit of redstone dust on it, while having a bunch of different redstone bitties
Amethyst is just a violet variety of quartz, with a tiny bit of iron ions, and both amethyst and quartz can form geodes 👍
Those gladOS heads rock as decoration, making me think what kind of skins i can make for head decor
So, you can hook up the same set-up, but with a pressure plate on every block except the one, and hook it to a piston or repeater to only make the sculk sensor work some of the time. Just a fun way to play around with people proximity.
As a heavy equipment operator I approve of that dozer. That’s pretty badass.
Maybe show Keralis the head thing if he doesn't know? I think it was him that said he wanted some ambiance sounds for his area so I think a shulker triggering a notebox-head to play the ambiance when you're near it would have that nice effect. I wish Mojang would put in some nice sounds for environments by default.

HEY Impulse! I know I'm late to jump onto the first reaction comments train, but I really wanted to express that the quartz geode is looking sweet and the bulldozer fits so well! Love seeing your ideas come to life in builds, that includes the Cyberpunk City of course. An idea for an easter egg to place in there, since you're a fan of The Office: you could make a sound bite and plug it into a player head whenever someone walks over a certain spot in the City, and it could be a sound of Michael Scott rapping "Scranton, the electric city" from the Season 1 of the show

Hey Impulse. Your bartering farm is not broken, it's just not a good option for quartz if you're after blocks in bulk. It's just one of a myriad of trade possibilities and you'll never get enough of any items you want in bulk without going insane. Villagers are the best option for full blocks and I'd argue mining quartz manually is sometimes faster than trading for the nether variant
With almost 30 people on the server, it's hard to find nether quartz in a reasonable distance, and as the season progresses, that distance gets farther and farther away.

Cub is making bank on the horns. Maybe a good shop would be custom audio on heads. Some funny ones like the horns but also ambient noises like birds, waves/beach, seagulls, jungle etc. hermits could put them in their bases like gem did last season with the records.
I think jevin has the permit for mob heads. If it falls under his permit you could pitch the idea to him for a partnership.
(Otherwise, Good luck at the permit office)
