Man's mother was not a good mother or mother-in-law. Mother wasn't truthful in telling what really happened and what was said by wife. The greater sin was mother and son.
This is something that's common and in a Christian home it can just be so weakening, shameful & devastating. But we have a loving, merciful and gracious God who can show us the way out
Well, the husband (the traditional man) should be reminded of his cheating with women, which could be married women. If this is true, he broke the laws of his tradition by bedding the wives of his fellow countrymen. Therefore he is guilty on a double count (traditionally and religiously). 😅
That won't work in a society that believes it's normal for a MAN/MALE to cheat... It's common belief that a woman emotionally bonds with whom she sleep with but a man doesn't plus the man is the head and should not be questioned or held with the same standards as the woman... Hence the permission for men to cheat...
This here, is what scares the joy of wanting to even want to do relationship. The two relationships had me dealing with two cheaters. And sincerely, its difficult to see the gender differently. God save us pls
James 2:13 There will be no mercy for those who have not shown mercy to others. But if you have been merciful, God will be merciful when he judges you. James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
It's the hypocrisy of the husband and his mom for me! 😂😂😂 I think the church has very high tolerance for adultery. Forgiveness is necessary but it's also OK for some people to end the marriage for the sake of their mental and spiritual welfare. The only time when a reconciliation is worth it is if the offending party is serious about changing his/her ways.
“The church” does NOT have high tolerance for adultery!!! That’s a lie from the pit of h3ll. The church preaches all the time on adultery and infidelity (there are countless seminars that preaches/teaches on relationships/marriages that reflects the principles of God), we have to stop placing burdens on the body of Christ as if we don’t individually know what The Bible “already” says about honoring the covenant of marriage. Usually, counselors and therapist (wether Christian or not) aim to help the struggling couple to save their marriage first. In their case, their counselor tried to help the husband to see past cultural tradition and forgive each other, that’s normal. And yes I agree with what you said about the husband and his mother being hypocritical, they were ruthless towards the lady.
@@sunnyhunn9315 I only speak from the numerous examples I've seen. Of course there are Christians who abhor adultery but take a simple of online teachings of pastors (African in particular) and see what they say about adultery. I won't be surprised if an empirical study proves my point. Far too many teach on marriage through a cultural rather than biblical lens. The code is often, women (especially), just tolerate it. Even those who preach that adultery is wrong, how do they handle these cases? That's where the proof of principle is. The immediate instinct to 'save a marriage' may be well intentioned but can be problematic when the focus is on keeping people together even to their detriment. The objective should be to bring healing through truthful examination of the issues in the marriage and an encouragement of repentance. Yes REPENTANCE(not mere regret, but intent to change one's mind\ways) is what Jesus works in us... ...and No, God's or the Church's "Tolerance" for our sin is not "COMPLACENCY" , it's PATIENCE as we're transformed into the perfect man Jesus Christ
This is a great video, however jt takes three to.make a marriage work. God and the couple. Regardless of how faithful one partner is if the other one is not they will have problems. Some couples shouldn't have been married in the first place. I was marrito an adulterer for over thirty years. He divorced me for his las mistress. He married her and died after fiftey years of their being married. He's the only man that i've ever been with. We were 18 and 21 when we married. I am now 71. I know from living and trusting in God that if you want to be kept snd ask God to keep you He will. As i always say about this and every situation " but for the grace of God go i," God bless the Winslos and keep them.
I would advise the husband on the importance of forgiveness as a Christian. first, showing mercy and forgiveness tends to be the last frontier for a Christian to cross to get to Heaven. the Bible is very clear in Matthew 6:14-15 NKJV, For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. CHRISTIANS FAIL TO ENTER HEAVEN DUE TO A LACK OF FORGIVENESS, ESPECIALLY WHEN THEY DIE IN BITTERNESS...
Forgiveness does not destroy our memory. Forgiveness does not rebuild trust, so it is better for both partners not to indulge in adultery because when it happened, the marriage is as good as over except by God’s divine intervention.
Exactly. And a woman that decides to cheat because her husband did same is not only unwise, she is a ticking time bomb. Christ permits men to divorce in the case of infidelity. I advise men not to take back cheating partners. You can forgive her and let her move on with her life, but don't take her back else... You can complete the sentence yourself 😶
@@codepanthaso you mean men can cheat and be forgiven? And a woman shouldn’t divorce her husband based on cheating 🤣🤣? We are not ready for this conversation Abeg.
The statement that, "men suppose dey cheat, not women", got me annoyed. My question is, if a man is expected to cheat, who will he cheats with? No be woman of another man's? Lol
They both has some healing to do, the husband also needs deliverance from his flesh, as result of his infidelity he impacted the wife negatively with his pattern of infidelity. Now, the wife emotionally depended on her husband for security, that’s why her emotions were disappointed and it made it easier for her to cheat on him as well. It was obviously a mistake, but either way accountability is necessary on both end. The correction I’d provide to the wife is that her marriage to her husband is a covenant unto God, and He’s the only one who can help her honor it no matter what goes on in the marriage. The husband is immature and reckless, and he certainly doesn’t love her the way Christ loves the church. He did everything to lose his marriage, and doesn’t take any responsibility in being and doing better. He’s a sad excuse of a husband. If they both turn to God, and walk according to scriptural wisdom, then God can restore their marriage and by listening to the wise counsel around them instead of tradition, they can overcome because God’s wisdom is greater than the cultural traditions.
The funny thing is how it seems easier for women to forgive their cheating spouses than it is for men. A man would cheat on his wife multiple times yet the woman would continue to forbear yet if for any reason the woman falls into the sin of adultery it immediately becomes an unpardonable sin. I'm not sure what to make of this. Something doesn't seem right in this equation. Does this mean that women love more genuinely than men do?
Probably. It's either that or we're better Christians. Although it could be the fear of staying single and the prejudice attached to divorce women. Most times, because the women always forgive, people do not realise nor understand the emotional breakdown and hurt women experience when a spouse cheats.
🙏🤔I must express my admiration for the excellent skit that was performed, however, I must vehemently express my dissenting view regarding the husband's perspective.
Cast your cares until Yahusha, he cares for you. He mends our broken hearts. If you give Him everything watch Him deliver you. Nothing is impossible, and besides unforgiveness causes sickness in your body especially if the person has repented and asked that you forgive them! ❤
My dear forgiving is not easy but remember when ur forgiving ur not helping that person who hurt you but your helping urself. So I know it's painful and hurting but forgive and let give ur heart to Christ is the only who mends the broken hearted. I know forgetting is not easy but It comes time to time and you will be healed in Jesus name. Read Isaiah 61.
Even if he forgave her and brought her back into his house, will he trust and respect her again? It's great being forgiven but it's a hard thing to live where you're not trusted or respected.
If he went on to cheat on her with single and married women countless times where is the respect for her in the first place to of him not respecting her when he forgives her? What am saying is: he did not respect his wife in the first place so whether she cheated or not/ he forgives her or not it doesn't change it.... and for a fact that he justifies his wrong doing against her is a sign he's got no love for her nor respect and he's a selfish being.
😂😂 this is the second skit where Mrs ohisi advice fails😂😂 This also tells us that not always everything has a good end , some things will end badly as well,, 😂 Traditional is traditional 😂

I will forgive since she is remorseful. After all, I have been offering her a lot before now. Though, it will require great strength to let go of the disappointment.
According to scripture, traditions of man makes the word of Elohiym of none effect. Mark 7:13. If I was the woman, I would have to move on and go in peace. They both broke their vows anyway and since the husband don't want to do what the scriptures say, he has to take it up with the Father! Madam go your way!
First you guys you continually give us good content. Not all traditions are bad, some traditions are there to strengthen the fabric of a society especially when those traditions are in line with scripture. However some traditions like the one on this skit is way outside scripture and should not be encouraged. Forgiveness is key in any kind of sin whether stealing, killing, abuse etc .however when it comes to adultery, its very key and important for the two parties to forgive one another from their hearts but that marriage's foundation of trust will be seriously shaken and a counselor should not give them advice to continue living together or not. The counselor can give them possible ways of working things out and still the dangers of adultery in a marriage but leave the decision of living together to the two. The work of a councilor should to enable them to forgive each other but not to advice them to stay together. Adultery is a sin that's quite a deadly sin in marriage. Eye for an eye cannot cure it.
Cheating is one of the most painful thing someone could do to their spouse. My wife and I constantly pray for God to watch over us so the flesh will not fail us. A tradition that is partial, unjust and one-sided. If a man can cheat and be forgiven, then a woman should also receive forgiveness if she cheats.

So I know it's painful and hurting but forgive and let give ur heart to Christ is the only who mends the broken hearted. I know forgetting is not easy but It comes time to time and you will be healed in Jesus name. Read Isaiah 61.
It is well
Even if he forgave her and brought her back into his house, will he trust and respect her again? It's great being forgiven but it's a hard thing to live where you're not trusted or respected.
If he went on to cheat on her with single and married women countless times where is the respect for her in the first place to of him not respecting her when he forgives her?
What am saying is: he did not respect his wife in the first place so whether she cheated or not/ he forgives her or not it doesn't change it.... and for a fact that he justifies his wrong doing against her is a sign he's got no love for her nor respect and he's a selfish being.
Forgive her now
😂😂 this is the second skit where Mrs ohisi advice fails😂😂
This also tells us that not always everything has a good end , some things will end badly as well,, 😂 Traditional is traditional 😂

Sadly this what they think..
What I would want to do, I wouldn't do.
But with much crying out to the Lord, weeping and wailing, I must do what the Bible says " FORGIVE"
Easier said than done. But it can be done...
Almighty God help your people 😔
Why is it women that suffer this alot? kaiii forgiveness is really important alot
Tradition is evil..
“Tradition is tradition”
Jesus! SMH 😮💨
This is strange
why would they talk about all that knowing someone is home and even bring him home
What are you saying?
@@ChollyVy read it again to understand

The first fundamental ingredient to marriage after God with love is forgiveness.
