I have little pieces stuck in between the doors of a huge Pax wardrobe so I suppose I will have to remove the doors to get at the tape.
I'm in the process if fitting new replacement doors and drawer fronts to my old IKEA Faktum units. Getting the protective film off is soooo difficult. I'm already using your method, but it's still taking me ages to remove it!
what about the teeny tiny bits that stay stuck on there. just rub them off? I'm afraid to damage the finish

Try blowdrying it lightly beforehand. Sometimes if it's been on there for a while it can be much more stuck.

Yea some of them are easy i did yesterday three houses 😢 and got more todo 😂 today sadly it is way too much full house and it does get tired 😂

Why not get a hair drier to warm it up. Comes off much easier
