The story revolves around Sarthak, a seeker and an aspirant who is still unemployed in his late 20s. Upon returning to his hometown, he faces many daunting questions from villagers instead of a warm welcome. He finds it suffocating amidst the people, he often spends his days wandering alone in the outskirts of his village. When he breathes in peace he seeks answers to broader existential questions. But as the sun sets, he must make his way home. Upon seeing him, his mother's worry and frustration show, while his father calmly lectures him to find a secure job and get married. Later, his father gently asks him to leave and go back to the city. Will he be able to seek the truth? And will he be able to answer society's disconcerting questions? This conflict comes to an end when he crosses paths with a saint-like figure who has sacrificed all materialistic possessions and is at his spiritual peak.
During the climactic sequence, some exchange occurs between Sarthak and The Saint leading to the resolution of this tale.
