I'm a compulsive gambler & did 5 years at 'GA' but been out the fellowship for 2 years now The first 4 months were great then i went into the bookies & lost my months wages in a couple of hours. Just woke up to a drink Danny watched your vid I'm on disability because of lower spine problems and dodgy knees any advice on what exercises I can do to get my mind off the stress of alcoholism I know swimming is one but I also suffer with some kind of noise sensitivity too much noise I can't handle. Done it when it was YOIs late 90s nothing was done to help addiction, I was in one jail but got owt 12 month early to do 90 days rehab that was in 2002 🤔 I think 🤷🏼♂️ still blessed Danny just for today my brother 👍🏻

nice1 m8, I've never been inside, very lucky not to have been though, them 23 hours in a cell waiting for a charge was enough for me to realise it wasn't for me and i started to think twice before having a scrap.
I need to get back into the rooms , I saved a friend who is working the rooms he is clean as a whistle but something inside of him switched and he wanted to use I refused getting him it talked him down best I could , this morning he was taking his Daughters out and he hadn’t slipped 👌🏼 …so glad he phoned me cos some users don’t want mates to get clean and would of gave him some for free to drag him bk down , but god bless he rang me and I talked him down this guy is years in not months so his recover continues we me beside him very shortly 👊🏼✌🏼💚

@@jtt8242 That's good your on medication to help you, there is nothing worse than when you reach out for help and get fobbed off ,i think some folks assume that coming of weed is easy it's not as hard as coming of other drugs but it can be as it isn't just withdrawl it is mentally exhausting as well ,unless i'm wrong i don't think there really is anything that is prescribed to help you come of weed i think there is just therapy and folk that help you to deal with it mentally ,you have to wean of it a bit a time day by day and that can be hard especially when your already dealing with your other addictions.
Done 3 months in there had my 18th birthday in there sure it was just a young offenders back then. Your rite it’s the worst time of your life and I vowed never to go back
I thought I was gonna see the prison all the lads I know been to prison was Lancaster farms since a little kid I’ve always heard the name of that prison, and honest to god I seriously don’t know why people think there’s something hardcore or cool about going prison and why most of the prisoners feel proud of themselves, I literally see no difference between girls or geeks who go to live in boarding schools and these prisoners, the only big difference is those who go to boarding school are smart and sharp minded people who come from different parts of the country to live together in one building and educated their minds, and the prison is full of men from different parts of the country who are locked up in one building and they live and have sex with one another, and a new male prisoner who enters the building is like a fresh virgin in the eyes of many of these prisoners.

@@missyd7120 yes! On medication been to counselling but nothing for getting me off the weed! It’s a waste of time people say reach out. I have multiple times to be seen then fobbed off! There is actually no help here or if there is it’s very well hidden 🙈
@@jtt8242 That's good your on medication to help you, there is nothing worse than when you reach out for help and get fobbed off ,i think some folks assume that coming of weed is easy it's not as hard as coming of other drugs but it can be as it isn't just withdrawl it is mentally exhausting as well ,unless i'm wrong i don't think there really is anything that is prescribed to help you come of weed i think there is just therapy and folk that help you to deal with it mentally ,you have to wean of it a bit a time day by day and that can be hard especially when your already dealing with your other addictions.

I thought I was gonna see the prison all the lads I know been to prison was Lancaster farms since a little kid I’ve always heard the name of that prison, and honest to god I seriously don’t know why people think there’s something hardcore or cool about going prison and why most of the prisoners feel proud of themselves, I literally see no difference between girls or geeks who go to live in boarding schools and these prisoners, the only big difference is those who go to boarding school are smart and sharp minded people who come from different parts of the country to live together in one building and educated their minds, and the prison is full of men from different parts of the country who are locked up in one building and they live and have sex with one another, and a new male prisoner who enters the building is like a fresh virgin in the eyes of many of these prisoners.
