The Version is way better than the Original One as the Modern Chinese Tone of the Music represents Liu Kang’s Role in this Created Universe, the Sound of a Clock, and his Theme as a Character.
What’s the original? I can’t really hear it This sounds really good especially in the fatality training when you can hear the intro and then when you get to the finish him screen the theme sounds even better
@@featherguardian6023yup that one was boring. The design of this stage is why it’s my favorite, absolutely beautiful especially in the story scenes too. Music shits on the 11 one as well.
Love the music, hate the stage. It’s a reminder that MK has been reduced to time traveling, MCU, Rick and Morty, Crisis on Infinite Earths, multiverse, nothing matters, elseworld, DC Comics garbage. I hate what MK has become. I hate it.
While I understand the frustration, Think of the implications. With Street Fighter, They're bound to the same story and are forced to retcon in characters that never existed that are suddenly important. F.A.N.G for example being so integral in Shadoloo, Necali, etc when we have games that take place later than V and we have nothing on them but their places were added because When street fighter hits a certain point it needs to just brush in a new character just because. But Street Fighter's story is mostly garbage anyways. and its fans are content with that. Tekken, It feels like the story has long overstayed its welcome and some parts are so forgettable. What even happened in Tekken 5 and 6?? With MK you have so many different forms of media, Movies, comics, shows, and Games. With the inclusion of Kronika it is now implied that every media of MK ever has all been canon but all were timelines previously erased by Kronika. Not only that but it also means that they are free to tell any story imaginable from any angle and the Hourglass works as a plot device that gives them all validity. Unfortunately that includes the bad stuff like Battle For The Realms. But still. It means that Mortal Kombat can literally go on forever and we can continously tell a new, fresh story with conclusions people can live to see. Rather than just eventually becoming such a jumbled mess or being a game where the story doesn't matter at all.
yea it's crazy how MK11 bullshit time travels condemned a lot of MK contents. The issue is (no spoilers) that the ending doesn't imply that it will stop one day or on the contrary that it is over
@@ShiniRyuga this time traveling garbage was not the only way to progress things forward and it breaks the lore Mortal Kombat in more ways than one. That god awful kronika revelation makes everything feel so insignificant. I don’t want the 95 movie to be canon. Or Scorpions Revenge. Or MKvsDC. Or Conquest. Or Defenders. There was nothing wrong with the MK’s story before. It didn’t need a reboot after Armageddon and it didn’t need one after MKX. We needed a reboot after what MK11 did but we did not get one unfortunately. Not a true reboot anyway. And another thing is that it cheapens the experience severely. Thought death didn’t matter before? Well now we can just pluck someone from another timeline. And the stakes has NEVER been lower than they are now. Something goes wrong? Guess we’ll have to reset the timeline. Hop to another dimension. It sucks. MK has a great cast of characters and a lot of them could easily step to the plate as a big bad. We didn’t need inter-dimensional time traveling titans in the MK universe. MKX had great setup with Dark Raiden and the Revenants. And there are other stories you could tell with different bad guys stepping up. I’m fine with new stories but they should be MORTAL KOMBAT stories, not DC Comics. Let’s take Snow Blind for example. That game didn’t need to be able a dumb elseworlds take set in Mad Max of all places where Kano is a robot. You still have Kano as a big bad but make it within his capabilities. Why couldn’t it have been about some small village the Black Dragons took over with the help of Shang Tsung and Kenshi assists the SF rather than Sub-Zero to liberate the village and get revenge on Shang? That’d have been way better to me than mecha-Kano taking over Mad Max because he’s a time wizard now. Why couldn’t MK11 be about Raiden declaring Mortal Kombat against Outworld for their treachery at the end of MKX. If they had to go this route of Liu Kang’s new era, why couldn’t they have just left it at that? The game already has fine enough setup for multiple villains to become massive threats. But instead, in addition to continuing this multiverse nonsense, they do a full on crisis on infinite earths. Why would they do this? Why can’t MK be MK? They’ve just turned my favorite franchise into bloody DC. We already have Injustice for this stuff. Did we really need Titan Time wizard Kitana fighting dark minion kombat kids? Did we really need Sindel with lizard skin? Johnny with Tarkatan teeth? Who was this for? And why is it still here but worse after MK11 had been torn to shreds?
So far the soundtrack is a 10/10 for me, one of the greatest surprises.

And I see it’s round 2 intro that sounds so 🔥🔥🔥
That last round gives me unexplainable chills, I literally can’t stop listening to it. It sounds so beautiful
Agree ❤️
Liu Kang fighting with Kitana in the story with the ost..man, That was amazing
Anyone noticed how the music sounds a bit like the original MK1 musics but reworked?
El juego se llama "MK1"
It's the oriental/eastern elements og mk1 was infused with the music while incorporating modern music elements
The design is so good. I want to visit it lol
Has an 80s synth feel to it
"This battle end with your timeline obliterated. Your final moments will be torture and pain!"
Yes, I was waiting for this theme!!
My favorite stage of of the bunch!
00:00 Intro
00:12 Round 1
01:43 Round 2
03:22 Round 3
This OST really goes off during the FINISH screen, go to practice fatalities and choose this stage. You’re Welcome 😉
I know about that theme. the "finish him/her" themes is always amazing. have u found an ost that has extensions of them?
Round 1 and Round 2 sounds like MK2 Kombat Tomb
Reminds me of Criss Angel's music and of the songs you'd hear in the background of Newgrounds-era Flash fighting games
3:15 - 3:21 💛💛💛💛
