Guys! If router light doesn't come on when connecting ONT port 1 to WAN, even with bridge mode enabled through UI, just restart the ONT while keeping it connected! It works! Thanks a lot!
Brother, can I enable bridge mode on my locked Nokia router (which allows bridging on 2.4GHz or 5GHz) and connect it wirelessly to a TP-Link router as shown in your video. In the video, you demonstrated this via a LAN port, but the Nokia router doesn't allow enabling bridge mode on the LAN port, it's allow only on 2.4GHz or 5GHz. If this is possible, how can I do it? I tried but couldn't manage it due to a lack of detailed knowledge.
Thanks for the video, If I have to connect it to a TP Link Mesh wifi, should I continue to use the Nokia modem as Route mode as the mesh wifi will only be used as access point?

Hello brdr, a ton of folks have already replaced their Jio HGW with their own equipment. It's a walk in the park, really. have you taken static IP and enabled bridge mode from backend because it is not working for me. Also, does unlocking the router helps in over coming this situation ?
Humlo brdr, no, you don't need static IP to enable bridge mode, even though that's what Airtel CC folks say. In some Nokias, like mine, bridge mode can be enabled without any help from the backend, as shown in the video, but if this method doesn't work with you Nokia, you need to contact Airtel CC to enable it from the backend, just pester them enough and mail at 121@airtel.in as well.

@geekytwins thank you! Great content does the firmware auto update? Or can I force it to update to 307 somehow? Mine also shows "delta cfg", no option to backup or restore. I suspect they've locked it down hard

Yes, brdr, that's right! Unless you are dialling PPPoE in your TP-Link equipment, you don't need to change any mode in your Nokia.

Normally, latency doesn't increase as much as it does in your case so it's quite odd.
