He was selected to play for QLD back in his Dragons days. Not the worst team getting around at the time. His post playing career he had roles at struggling clubs Cowboys, Titans and Bunnies.

Now he can go on an extra gear in the meaningless Origin series. Notice NSW players play a little harder in rep games after they get financial security. Smart business from NSW player managers. Had he gotten injured in game 1 or 2, I have no doubt that figure would've dropped a bit..That's why games like Origin are a huge injury and financial risk for players midseason.
