What a well thought out home! Everything in a small package and it fits on quarter acre lots with room to spare. As an older solo home owner I really like the upstairs patio but I would need more solar protection. Loved the kitchen in this design.
I really love the design. The personal changes that I would make would be: - the laundry room would have a CLOTHES DRYER - the kitchen must have a DISHWASHER - one of the bedrooms would be a LIBRARY w/ desk and lounge chairs

The size is good, and there's lots of potential for great design, but the kitchen is impractical, there's too much wasted space with the dining area, and the downstairs bedrooms are too cramped and poorly designed. There's potential, but it needs a lot of work to be liveable.

Beautiful - but: so much light everywhere, except in the kitchen and dining area. That part is poorley designed. To prepare the food, cook in the dark?! The most of the time everyone spends in the kitchen and leaving room. Not in bedrooms.

How are you going to dig up the snow on the second floor balcony? Too much open space doesn’t hold the heat. Very unpractical to live in

It's not bad, but why is the microwave all the way up by the ceiling? How is anyone going to use it up there?
