My brain shouted Farm to Table at me when Graham was trying to remember other Aftermath cards. Turns out it was Farm to Market. Engagement gods appeased.
I havent watched them since like 2016, and Graham pulled me out of my quiet horror imagining Rhett's face photoshopped onto that spearmaster, only to gutpunch me with the "as opposed to link..."
I claim to speak for no one but myself (though I suspect there are likely several others out there that feel the same way), but certainly I appreciate you and your presentational style Graham! I feel Shed Weakness is a perfect example of it: I was onboard for the joke itself - for the record, it did get a laugh - and fully understood and agreed with the sentiment your expression conveyed in its aftermath. (Insert "aftermath", "exile" or other MtG keyword related joke concerning puns here.)
Amonkhet was the last set I purchased as a kid. I remember being bummed about how mediocre so many of the cards felt in a sealed environment. Flash forward to now, having gotten back into Magic twice since then, and my Amonkhet box has probably the most playables out of my whole collection.
I still feel like a newbie saying this despite this set coming out many years ago, but this was my first standard set I actually got super in to. I still have so way too niche commons from this set just sitting around! Fun to see this opened again.
I've played a ton of Limited during Amonkhet release and I've NEVER(seriously, never) seen those uncommon Exert lord Jackals. Amusing how you can still find surprising things in a subject you think you excel at.
Someone want to explain why Aven Mindcensor isn't worth more? It seems like the sort of thing that belongs in every sideboard to hose tutor-based decks.
It's interesting to see how certain cards don't seem as good in certain limited formats. Cradle would probably be great in the right limited (perhaps a slower one where you could get away with a colorless land easily enough). Wander in Death wasn't nearly as good as Soul Salvage was from my experience (likely due to Embalm or format speed).
@@tilleruez6869 not anymore true, the D+T lists have improved a bit over the last few years, but I still run it in mine because i like it and can't quite seem to let the idiot bird go lol
It''s so stupid to demand boosters on Crack a pack(lol), buuut could we please do sets like Avacyn, innisstrad og, worldwake, new phyrexia, zendikar etc? As a chaos draft enthusiast, I would love to see the man himself "picking-packing-one" a few of those older boosters
I only just remembered that Aftermath was the name of the mechanic for Amonkhet split cards. That makes March of the Machine: Aftermath seem even dumber! Just like when they were introducing Jumpstart after they'd already made the Izzet keyword for Guilds of Ravnica.
"I keep buying so many sheds" -Graham, 2023
can't remember the name of that crapshot
very minnesota problem
Graham “two sheds” Jackson
I just love that G keeps opening Shed Weakness, I pop for the buying too many sheds joke every time
My brain shouted Farm to Table at me when Graham was trying to remember other Aftermath cards. Turns out it was Farm to Market. Engagement gods appeased.
It never fails to give me a smile whenever y'all emphasize "Bird Wizard".
It sounds silly, right? Just like lizard wizard.
Ah yes, Magic's "Every kid went through an Egyptian phase" set.
I appreciate the GMM reference on the first actual card.
Happy birthday Graham! Also, happy colossal dreadmaw day!
It's funny how Graham makes sets he knows and sets he doesn't really know entertaining in very different ways.
I got the Good Mythical Morning joke Graham!
Me too! God I remember listening to them *years* ago…
I havent watched them since like 2016, and Graham pulled me out of my quiet horror imagining Rhett's face photoshopped onto that spearmaster, only to gutpunch me with the "as opposed to link..."
Hints of Dave Spokesman with that Patreon segue. Love these always.
6:38 I guess we'll start having to call you Graham "Two Sheds" Jackson

Am I the only one that has an irrational love for Crack-a-Pack? It’s literally my favorite thing (aside from Judge’s tower! Lol)

This is the comfort content I need this week. Thanks LRR

10:20 I think Graham might have forgotten that 2017 is 6 YEARS AGO! Like I have a child that didn't exist then, haha. 6 years is a long time
Everything that happened before the great Panini is automatically untethered from time, able to exist simultaneously last week and last century.
A perfect 5/7 segue at the end, there, Graham.
Amonkhet was the set that got me into magic.
The memories
Delightful as always!
Thank you Matt for that added text on the dramatic reenactment! Otherwise I would have thought it was just me.
Good Mythical Crack-a-Pack!
I've played a ton of Limited during Amonkhet release and I've NEVER(seriously, never) seen those uncommon Exert lord Jackals. Amusing how you can still find surprising things in a subject you think you excel at.
I've _heard_ of Rhett and Link, so I got the joke, but I don't actually know anything about them.
1:10 Ah yes, The Myth of Zelda!
Someone want to explain why Aven Mindcensor isn't worth more? It seems like the sort of thing that belongs in every sideboard to hose tutor-based decks.
My favorite set!
I love Amonkhet so much :)
Came in during Kaladesh block so this being my first block from fresh and first PR has so much nostalgia for me
I run a binding mummy in my Varina zombie deck and it's actually a sleeper bomb.
Happy birthday Graham!!!!
Amonkhet wrappers just hit different.
The deserts may not be very good by themselves, but my Hazezon deck loves them
The Rhett and link joke at the start got a legend of Zelda subtitle and I need to know if that was purposeful
If only we knew that we were getting collasal dreadmaw soon after this block we might have scoffed at the insect
6:38 underrated joke
Does this mean no more price of the pack? If that started in previous episodes than I might have missed it but I enjoyed that segment.
10:20 is the start of the pack value or did you mean something else?
Durkwood boars has centipede envy.
It's always fun to give Exert creatures Vigilance. Really abuse those Exert abilities.
I love Aftermath and want it to come back. I hope it does some day!
Instructions unclear: made a 50 card set.
@@kpoffaas 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Yay new Grahamcrackers! (No I will not tire of that joke.)
Oh man I’ve never seen that creepy look on the binding mummy
Graham is in the pocket of Big Insect.
I got flashbacks when he said "bird wizard??"
Was Graham speaking directly to my mind at the beginning?
Bear with me / They're jackals, Graham got me :D
I’m no wasteland scorpion! I am a wasteland scropinop
There's a few Legend of Zoldos on the internet. Is this one LRR-specific?
So Graham likes big bugs and he cannot lie?

Storm Shadow Vizier would be a much different card.
I'm engaging because nobody knows a better way to get the recommendation algorithm to work.
Just know i laughed out loud at the shed joke, Yes I am a dad
Colossapede is real good in my Ruxa deck
Graham, I'm sorry, it's pronounced "Idiot bird."
definitely not playable in highlander :D

Crack! A! Pack!

How does that make it dumb?
I love to hate-watch the shows I love!
First also yeah Zelda reference
Probably a Rhett & Link reference though.
@@citronman Bruh that’s the joke
Someone has been very lazy with the price checks on these cards... 🤨
