Rumours of the death of Serj's voice appear greatly exaggerated.
But his voice is like ..weaker than old voice of his. And he don't dance like he is afraid of get out of the tune.

@@wherethetreegrows its because singing in his old voice would quickly start to wear his voice out so he couldn't do long concerts with it, that's why we get small bursts of his old voice during shows not for whole songs

I love System of a down. I'm a huge fan for them. I'm glad they got back together. What's funny to me is that when Serj sings with a low voice he sounds like he use to before it got all weird. But i'm not hating i love them it's just funny but i also love his voice.
Also when he uses his angry voice it still sounds the same. Listen to IEAIAIO at Reading 2013 , his angry voice sounds exactly like it did 13 years ago.

his (old) technique is not hard, but it consumes his voice pretty quickly, so he would do 2 or 3 songs with the old voice, and he'll be done for the night. but in his new technique, he can have long gigs without getting out of tune

Pô cara, não é só porque a voz do Serj tá mudada que a banda ficou ruim, os solos do Daron junto com o Shavo continuam fodas, o John continua arrebentando na bateria, e por mais que o Serj esteja velho, raramente ele desafina.

Daron ya no se ezfuerza mucho en eso, solo utiliza un tipo de distorcion en todo el concierto, antes lo hacia o cambiaba de guitarra.

Ya SOAD está muerto y me da mucha tristeza, siendo admirador suyo desde hace unos quince años. Se ven con flojera, y su edad no lo justifica, siguen estando relativamente jóvenes... pareciera que más lo hacen por compromiso. Si es así, ni modo... supongo que ya tendrán otros intereses musicales y es por eso que no crean nada nuevo de SOAD. El único que sigue como nuevo es Dolmayan. Los demás se ven como si no tuvieran ganas de hacer lo que están haciendo. Shavo equivocándose en una línea tan básica... bueh.
Da tristeza, que lo que fue ya nunca más volverá a ser.
Pues Shavo y Serj no se llevan muy bien que digamos, en las entrevistas siempre Shavo le manda indirectas a Serj incluso ha dicho que metan a un nuevo vocalista para que Serj se large con su proyecto solista y no nos haga esperar, mientras John ha dicho que la amistad de la banda no es muy buena ya que hasta Serj y Daron no se miran a la cara, ojala y en esta gira de 2015 tengan mas energia.
Es una pena, la verdad. Yo dudo que vaya a haber un disco nuevo, y si llega a haberlo me la pensaré para escucharlo porque estoy casi seguro que será malo a comparación de los otros.
Aunque en líneas generales yo me refería a su actitud en los conciertos. Lucen como si tocaran frente a su público por puro compromiso.
WhiteSwan eso si, igual esta nueva gira va terminar el mes de octubre en Brasil, Colombia y México, despues de terminar los conciertos en esos 3 paises Serj dirá si habrá un nuevo disco, solo si él y Daron escriben algo nuevo.
Solo falta esperar.
Aunque a lo que te refieres se nota muy poco entusiasmo en los conciertos, debe ser incomodo para ellos estar al lado de un "amigo" al cual no le han hablado en 5 años y solo se ven para practicar y tocar.
Gichel Gerez no se que entrevistas has visto ... pero si miras los vídeos de este concierto en concreto veras que shavo en un momento se dirije a serj y le abraza y serj le besa la nuca ... solo hay que ver unos cuantos directos para ver que se tienen mucho aprecio todos y que han superado sus malentendidos que pudieron tener hace años
WhiteSwan no estoy de acuerdo, no hay mas que ver los conciertos alrededor de 2010 y ver los ultimos del 2015 para darse cuenta de que le ponen mas ganas y se les ve mas unidos como grupo y sobretodo a serj mas integrado
