The schedule was set before the debate and has nothing to do with it. The court runs on it's own schedule that has nothing to do with the election. They would have had this done months ago but the Supreme Court ruling about immunity pushed it back. So thank them for it coming out in October instead of earlier in the year. Maybe then they could have picked a new Republican candidate.
