Thank You So Much for posting these, I loved watching AW with my grandmother back in the day. While I"m watching these episodes I feel so much like I have been reunited with an old friend.
I just love seeing Jim Matthews give Liz the business. Hugh Marlowe, known for the movies "All About Eve" and "The Day the Earth Stood Still" among other movies and shows.
Interesting to see the 90 minute episodes and how story telling adapted to the extra half hour. Feels like a lot more use of flashbacks and recap conversations. And so many characters!
Tony, Thank you for commenting. I wish I could have saved more of the 90-minute episodes. It returned to 60-minute episodes on Monday, August 4, 1980. The only one I have in my collection is the final 90-minute episode that aired on Friday, August 1, 1980: ua-cam.com/video/sLTIH8_DHMg/v-deo.html
I had forgotten how great a character Charlie Hobson was (especially @ 4:05). It was such a shame that he was killed off to bring on Leigh (and later Denny).
Richard, I think you meant 4:04:44 for the area displaying Charlie Hobson. (The seconds have to be added; or, it doesn't take one to the right area.) Thanks so very much for commenting. (Chase)
I used to love whenever Tracy would sing that "Countdown" song on the show. I've never heard the song sung anywhere else. Does anyone know who originally sang it or what the actual name of the song is?
Douglas, I'm at a loss in being able to answer your questions. If you could explain where the song is located in this 7-hour video, it may help others to be able to answer your questions. Thanks for commenting. 🙂 (Chase)
@@DouglasCunningham-kj3oq -- Thank you for giving the time where Tracy is singing. I found something that might help a little bit, but otherwise, hopefully somebody else can. I found Dan Hartman - "Countdown /This Is It" (1978) here at UA-cam: (Chase) ua-cam.com/video/I9l5mx0JktU/v-deo.html
I have a question for all you fans! If you could pick one man from this show to be your husband, who would it be? I know my answer. Dr Russ Mathews. He's so handsome and not selfish and sweet!
Curtis, Thanks for commenting. I can't recall what my reaction involved. Maybe somebody else will respond. I often wondered if others felt the same as I did, too. (Chase)

No marriage for me, but your choice sounds good and especially if it was Sam Groom. 🙂
@Chase4everChase ok, me either but you get what I mean 😆

I think both her and Joey are ridiculous! Joey is very stubborn and doesn't even to to understand how Kit feels
I can't wait for Miranda to get hers. I like to punch her. Glad Ada can see through her act, too.
Thanks for commenting. I can sure relate to having disgust for Miranda but great acting by the actress. (Chase)
