When my 3 month old grandson died from a SIDS related event, his heart was harvested for a child in Texas. We thank God that our son interrupted the full event, but the lack of oxygen to the brain had already done too much damage, and he was declared legally dead when brain death was confirmed. Life support kept his heart beating long enough for the surgical team to harvest his heart. I am a registered organ donor. I may even chose to donate my entire body. It's just an empty shell once you die, and if it can be used to save a life, whether through organ donation, or through study by those becoming doctors (as a cadaver), why wouldn't you want that? One final gift to mankind.
I am an organ donor, I signed up when I was 16 and got my driver's license, went home and told my family. The physical shell we live in day to day is just that, if you can give life, do it.

The heart literally has a memory seperate to your brain mind so it retains memory of its original person she will have her memories in her too
