When my second wife questioned why I wanted to be a bone marrow donor with surgery etc required, I simply replied, “I might save your daughter’s life one day. She never again brought the subject up.
I am a bone marrow donor. I consider it the highest honor of my life.
I donated in October 2011, easy process, no pain and no after effects, register and save a life.
I’ve been registered for years...I hope that some day I have the honor of actually donating. I’m ready!!
I've donated blood and platelets. If I was able to donate bone marrow to help somebody, it would be a true honor.

Had surgery 27 years ago and signed on the dotted line. Waiting to help.( minor gallbladder problem so no issue donating.)

How old was David at the time of donation? I understand one can not donate post 55. Am I right?
