Pico Veleta via the waterfall Chorreras del Molinillo, Sierra Nevada

* This video has subtitles providing extra information * A tough trek in the Sierra Nevada in Granada. We evade the ski areas at Pradollano as much as possible and see the 100 m high waterfall Chorreras del Molinillo up close. We continue with lagoons, wild horses and even walk in snow in mid-July. Via the Refugio de La Carihuela, we get to the peak Pico Veleta. With its 3,398 metres it is the second highest peak in this mountain range. That waterfall is impressive. Is it easy to get there?

It depends a bit on which way you chose. There will be for sure a part with narrow mountain paths and clambering over rocks, so you better get proper walking boots.
