Best STUNT Foamy of 2024 !! Jim Bourke E-Flite Extra 330 SC 1.3m BNF

The BRAND NEW E-Flite Extra 330 SC 1.3m Jim Bourke edition is a top tier RC Airplane. I had to maiden this beauty on an insanely windy day but AS3X and SAFE technology really help make it manageable in this crazy wind gusts. This plane is amazing as the yellow and gray original Extra 300, but the upgrades to the Extra 330 make it the best stunt foamy of 2024 in my opinion. Excited to start honing my 3D skills with this RC Plane this fall!

If you're a foam 3D flyer and want to transition to balsa class of the same price point/size class, shoot for the Extreme Flight 48" line of plug n' play 3D planes. You'll get more performance and lighter weight.

I can't seem to get into 3D. It doesn't do anything for me. I can do some of the stunts, but I would rather fly my Sukhoi aerobatically. I flip-flop between jets and prop planes every few weeks.

First this plane is a slug with a 3S. Second the CG range is critical and for the maiden balance it at 27%. Do the math for the CG location not what the manufacture recommends.

Got mine today at the local hobby shop. Cant wait to fly it in the morning! Crashed my OMP edge 540 60" today so needed a quick 3D plane for the long weekend 😅 ive gotten hooked on the 3D style

One way to improve this Extra 300 from Eflite is to swap the motor to a Sunnysky 6s motor of the same size that runs 1500-1800mah 6s small packs. It leans out the maneuvers way better and the hovers will hold better. Since this is a heavier airframe, the 4s just doesn't give it a good punch out on some maneuvers.

I started with 3 channel trainers. Spent several years working my way through warbirds and sport planes. Now I can hover and do basic 3D. Still have a long way to go.
