Young, talented Coco Gauff is a force to reckon with on the tennis court. The famous American professional tennis player is up there with the likes of Iga Swiatek, Emma Randucanu and of course the world’s richest tennis player Jessica Pegula with whom she has won several tennis doubles titles. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, the nineteen year old tennis superstar is the proud winner of three WTA singles titles and seven Grand slam doubles titles.
From making her professional debut on the ITF Women’s circuit at the young age of fourteen, to appearing in the front cover of Teen Vogue’s special issue in 2019 after defeating former tennis World no. 1 Venus Williams in the opening round of the 2019 Wimbledon championships, the name Coco Gauff appears to be synonymous with success.
With the star’s name playing on the lips of many and recent media speculations, many have begun to ask the question: what really happened to Coco Gauff?

Oh man ... come on! She is 19(!) years old. Give her time.
The problem nowadays seems that everyone expects not a new Steffi Graf, Serena Williams and alikes ... No, she must top(!) the old legends. Of course you have to fail with such high(est) expectations. Normally it should be like this: You're a great tennis player and a legend if you're able to win one Grand Slam (not around 20).

@@kevinpatrickcarey3741 May be another problem for her. I'm German and I don't know so much about black-white (color) problems in the USA (only through media). But I can imagine there is additional pressure on her only because of her skin color. yeah there are people who say she had an easy draw at the French but here are the facts: she was 18, former Roland Garros junior champ. seeded 18th at the French and beat Kanepi - who performs considerably well on clay. Mertens who was a RG quarterfinalist, Stephens who is a former RG finalist and consistently performs well on clay and Trevisan who is basically a clay court specialist and she beat them all in 2 sets. I think the glaring problem is that she's not performing that well at Masters- 1000 events but I think people need to give this girl more credit for what she did at RG last year.
