Funny thing is.. they are uncomfortable with a man (ie. foreigner) raising his voice or yelling at them. But 1-2 hours before that happened... they were comfortable enough to lie or bend the truth about something of importance to the man, just so they can "save face" or shirk accountability.

Also beware the tampo after effect of arguing. That is worse than the yelling heh heh. My experience is Filipina's don't mind raising their voices a bit to express their unhappiness about something, but it is a one way street only they won't put up with a raised voice coming back at them.
