I play it the same way you play it :). I like slower, more precise approach, discover and try everything and use every game mechanic I can. Makes me feel more like a Hitman, than running as fast as possible. I alson don't play with Instinct and mini-map, like all these speedplayers. To each his own I would say :).
That's ths power of video, you don't have to show all the times you failed like if you was playing for a live stream

@@ImChickenLittle I was gonna say that aswell lol. plus when you come up with a method like this you dont instantly come to this way of doing it. You have to experiment and see what works. You also have to remember ai pathing etc.
@@DeadStormPooper I genuinely think that's the way IO intended us to play this game- trial and error until you get that Silent Assassin on Master Difficulty. I myself take hours experimenting, coming up with a strategy and executing it (executing it is also easier said than done)

Doesn’t work anymore, targets don’t go to sinks and Nolan goes straight to guns behind glass ahead of his bodyguards
The new patch broke a lot of interaction with sound and distraction, I will test another method later.
I've had it work halfway with the same method just now on PS5, the Janus part doesn't work but the other target makes the guard investigate, its inconsistent though
Just tried this run and with the first house, if you pacify the first two guards upstairs, you should be able to get only one guard coming with Nolan, I’ve had one instance where two guards came up but you should be able to get one if Nolan is partially out the front door
I found this to be one of the easiest SASO's in the trilogy. A tazer in Cassidy's mailbox, Janus explodes via cigarette, and the clues are trivial to find. Honestly, I'd recommend this map to be one of if not the first one that newish players try to get their first SASO on, since any restricted area is only five seconds away from a clear zone and there's plenty of walls to block line of sight.
Eh I did mine in order. Treat it more like a campaign than a grind. That's what is more fun for me anyways

Love all the extra routes, all the different ways you can take out your targets, this game is a perfect example of replayability, you could play the same mission 10 times in a row and never have the same experience I love it...hate games where once you play a mission that’s it, there’s one way to do what you have to do once you’re done there’s no point in replaying, the team that created this game did it with the player in mind the whole time, same with damn near every hitman game
Gunther always investigates when I try this. Poisoning the tea seems more practical.
This was really hard to replicate on PS5, every time with the car battery, the guard investigated instead of Janus, but the last time he didn't die or go in apparently, so I had to shoot Janus through the front window instead, closest I can get on console with inaccurate aiming
Don't think it works anymore. Cassidy beats his bodyguard to the case every time for me.
The poison kill can be made to work if you hide behind the door in the gun room and not in the bathroom. It can be tricky but it's early enough in the run to restart if it doesn't work.

The AI behaviour in this game is so inconsistent that I don't know how IOI have the face of releasing another sandbox mission without firs fixing the glaring ai problems for example in this mission I have the almost the same strategy as you well at least the first target well always work setting up the gun case alarm and poison him,well now only works when the game want it to work because now the majority of the time the target comes with his bodyguard very close by and now instead of the bodyguard checking what happen always well not always but most of the time the target is the one who checks and the bodyguard is blocking the damn door ,so annoying
I have found that the timing is quite important too. There's a certain window in which the target might respond, and in certain windows their guards do. Like for eg, I tried to do a Silent Assassin Suit Only on the Paris map, and I had to time it so only Novikov's guard would get distracted and not him himself. Plus, IOI keeps well, releasing patches which change particular exploits and behavior, so many strats in older videos don't work anymore.

How did Janus die?
Electrocution, there is a car battery in Cassidy's garage that you can pick up. Go to Janus house and just throw the car battery near the sink then overflow it, Janus will investigate the bathroom when he goes downstair.

Speedruns is what his channel is mostly made off, kind of his gig infact.. Never going to find him slowing down unfortunately.
Doesn’t say speed run anywhere. You’re obviously right, I just think it would play out so much better if it seemed as if agent 47 were improvising in the moment ya know!

You can use the sniper strat that I use for this map, replace the flash bang with the flash phone, place the flash phone instead of the coins, bring the sniper rifle with you. As for Janus just take him out however you want.

This is technically not silent assassin because there can’t be any bodies found.
Do you even play this game? Accident and poison kills dont count. They find the body but they dont know you killed that person.
