Jordy, You won't see any of my articles giving you a shout out because I don't have the talent to write articles however you have given me tons of inspiration over the last year and I'm sure there are lots of people on here that feel the same. Just remember that anybody that has the courage to put out there, for strangers, what you put out there, will get "haters" and they should be ignored. They breeze by like a fart in the wind and have no more significance. You Rock Bro, don't forget that. Ever! Thank you.
Oh Yay !... So much to be happy about... New knives New micro-motor Recognition in a magazine You are blessed Jordy..💚🙏💚... We'll all watch for your knife work and the new power carver...very exciting... Congratulations Jordy and many thanks to Chris Hill... 🌿🌿🌿
Really cool you got a shout out from chris. It's well deserved. Alot of class for him to give recognition & donate to the giveaway. The tribe is strong 💪 so carry on. ✌🎨🎨🎨😁
Wow Wow Wow what a neat video. Jordy you not only have mega video followers and I know we all Love you like family and Mr. Chris Hill , well he just proved it for sure. What a wonderful man. Be well my friend
What can I say. Just fantastic how the carving community supports each other. Chris is certainly generous and I am glad you the recognition you deserve. If was ever to be drawn out for a carving I would gladly pay the postage. If you can afford it it is only right you pay. Thanks for the video. Once again great information. 😀💗
How wonderful for you Jordy. You totally deserve this. Truly an honour to be mentioned. I'd like to thank you for all your videos. They keep me going when I'm feeling low and lonely. I live alone and suffer from severe agoraphobia and your humour makes me smile. I honestly believe you help so many people all over the world in so many ways. You've certainly helped me in my darkest of days. Thank you again for being you. Love Karyn. Warwick UK 🇬🇧
Love that we can all attest right here on this video, again, the kindness, respect and generosity between fellow carvers. Yes, I am surprised that you, Jordy haven't been recognized before. Chris Hill, thank you so very much for giving Jordy a wonderful shout out; so kind of you too to pay it forward and share your earnings with Jordy so he can learn hand carving. Oh, and thank you for your gifting of a wood spirit bird house to the drawing - most kind! I have a set of Flex Cut hand tools but before I attempt to hand carve, I will continue to watch Doug Linker's videos to learn more techniques. I had a subscription expire of Woodcarving Illustrated as they also include power carving articles and tutorials; I plan to resubscribe to it now :)
I'm not amazed that you received recognition, I'm amazed that it hasn't happened sooner and more often! I loved the Zoomed-In Feature while carving the eyes. I could really see what was happening and you took your time. Thanks Jordy!
I is nice to be recognized and for a person to appreciate what you showed on a video I have done many of your carvings and proud ( most of the time) on they came out thank you for your time be safe
Congrats on the shout out Jordy, I don't like carving flat boards either they always look like crap. Like the idea of the eagle makes for a cool ridge cap.
@@CarvingFusion I've got a question. Do you still like your Trend Face Sheild? Do you wear it when you dremel carve? I wear glasses the dust mask drive me nuts!!!!

Hey Jordy, it’s great that you got a shout out in that magazine article. I’m just starting out with knives, chisels and Dremel as well so it’ll be interesting to see how I can use those in a project. Looking forward to what you’re able to do with the knives. Thanks and good luck.😉
Awesomeness like always Criss is a saint . I just started carving as a carpenter Turing 40. I use knives but because of you I started using my beat up m12 Milwaukee rotary tool with the kutzall and love it . I use both knifes and the rotary tool to carve . I have 8 beaver craft knives and spoon knives and love the them . Flex cut is hard to get but leevally in Ontario has some so next time I drive to the city I’ll grab some I can’t thank you enough for the videos and being a very down to earth and awesome teacher of this and your art . If you ever do a Canadian carving teaching tour I’ll be the first to sign up .
Wow, that sure was nice of Chris ,your known all over the world buddy ..I started out carving with the same two sets of Flexcoe knifes I bought 4 year ago. Just had hell with cutting the cross grains ? Them i saw one of your Dremal carving and i was hooked .. Guess i just don´t have the Patience with knifes . So, i´ll watch you carve with them . I carve a lot of Birch, Locust, Cedar, Cypress.and Pine .So, if you get good with it ,, i´ll start using them again, No Patience with Knifes >> See Ya
