Usseewa ~ Piano version. Thats where here insane range and control over her voice can be heard the most i think. it is raw and you can see her there, only blurred but thats the most we have seen of her until now
Great reaction as always, Jhulian. Looking forward to more Ado videos. I'd recommend her cover of "God-ish" for more crazy vocal flexes, and her original song "Aitakute" for another beautiful ballad.
I haven't watched film red yet but I knew there was an artists behind uta, what I hadn't realized was how crazy talented this girl is. Really enjoyed all of these. the emotions in all these were intense, hard not to feel the lyrics. EDIT: Rewatching this video after seeing the movie and IM balling my eyes out lol damn that last song hits so hard
These 3 songs are great. I'm Invincible is probably the Ado song with my favorite lyrics, it's just so uplifting. Can't help but smile and feel warm when I listen to it. The World's Continuation is one of my favorite songs too, her vocals and the song are beautiful and touching. And of course, Usseewa, what more needs to be said, it's her most popular song. For recommendations, since you mentioned reacting to live stuff, she has 2 videos of it so far which are Odo and New Genesis. You can also add in the piano version of Usseewa in which her vocals stand out more compared to the original.
You should listen to Ado's "Fireworks" and "Eien no Akuruhi" next. Also, it's time for you to check out her covers as well. I would recommend "Crime and Punishment" (original song by Sheena Ringo)
I recommend Readymade it is another one of her earlier original songs, Also there is an insane amount of good singers in JP music. Ado started as a Utaite and there is a lot of good Utaites out there along with vsingers even some vtubers that is worth checking out not to mention just music producers. If anyone ever need any suggestions just let me know I got a ton.
Ado's song, the new era and the LIVE version of ODO, came out, so I also recommend it. Ado has put out in the past Bocca della Verità is also the best.
If you want to see her perform (kinda) the best look is Usseewa piano version - And im guessing you'd like it- just her and a piano live in a studio :) You get see her distorted foggy reflection in a mirror through the song. You cant really see her face but you can at least see her jestures as she sings. And I think she sings it better than the studio version :)
Usseewa is indeed a social criticism. which if you know anything about japan it's that you're really not liked for having any kind of open social opinion. at least by older folks. because they just shut up and listen to the rules and they want the next generations to do it just like they did instead of making it better for the next generation. for the japanese individuality is seen as going against the norm. its a very suffocating society to be a part of.
ive been immensely enjoying your videos on ado, especially your analysis and reaction to the one piece songs!! The songs released before the movie and me and a friend spent those months where we didnt know anything about the movie except those songs and the first trailer analysing the songs in terms of lyrics and video to hell and back and while most interpretations ended up being too far fetched, but we had a great time! Fascinated by your musical analyses and might incorporate them into a future re-analysis of the songs with lyrics and video and this time the musical aspect! If i‘m not mistaken, the last film red song you‘ve not reacted to so far is „Where the wind blows“ which is, of course, yet again a masterpiece. I feel it‘s some sort of crossover between World‘d Continuation and I‘m Invincible with the nostalgia pulling through the entire video but its more uplifting and an optimistic outlook like I‘m Invincible. And of course all three songs focus on living with yourself, your past, and your future, but that‘s less musical and more the context of the movie and the character that Ado portrays in the movie. Keep the good work up!!
Usseewa was her first commercial song release, recorded when she was just 17 years old (and released right as she turned 18). Ado is absolutely amazing! A true genius singer. So yeah, what you're hearing is what she was like when she STARTED her career. How many singers can boast such an amazing debut? And yes, the song is basically an anthem of rebellion of Japanese youth against the old culture of Japan where being a "salaryman" is considered the height that one should aspire to be, just another cog in the machine who works all day, never complains about mistreatment by his boss, etc... Individuality is discouraged, acting out is discouraged, originality is discouraged, it's a very tough culture for someone who grew up exposed to western ideas. Japan's work culture is very anachronistic to its' equivalent in the west, it's reminiscent of what it was like in the 1920s USA. Things like unpaid OT is common (it's your fault if you can't finish your work on time no matter how much work was piled on you), you're not allowed to go home before your boss goes home, so if HE didn't get HIS work done on time, it doesn't matter if you finished yours 3 hours ago and your shift ended 2 hours ago, you sit at your desk and pretend to work (or get started on tomorrow's work if possible). I honestly don't know how they do this, I couldn't stomach that kind of work culture.
"Usseewa" is a messy way of saying "Urusai(noisy)". Used when cursing. Bakugo, a character from My Hero Academia who can easily go mad, often uses it. There are many detailed rules in Japanese life. They are very careful, but they are used to it because it has been a habit since they were little. There is public order, courtesy, security and safety there because they follow the rules well with each other. But sometimes they feel like, "No more! Leave me alone! I want to be free!" This song expresses the feelings of that time.
Im sure someone's said it but you gotta do a whole series for asian kungfu generation or at least a video considering you watched bocci the rock. great video as always jhulian
Je te conseille d'écouter God-Ish de Ado. Tu verras tu seras choqué quand tu apprendras que c'est une seule et même personne qui chante. Et Darken de Zutomayo !
To this day I still think the One Piece movie turned out different than the portrayal of all the music videos that were supposed to promote the film. If they had used the mini stories in each music video and implemented them into the movie the film would have come out a lot better. That was a big dropping of the ball on the screen play of the writers.
こんな面白いリアクターさんがいたなんて!
これからも期待しています。

The lyrics in Usseewa really upset the older generations in Japan
Yeah, they should, and make them realize how wrong the older generations are.
Yeh they got really upset to the point of even trying to ban the song.
Japan has a great culture but the older generations are out of touch with reality
@@0mthing801 Truth hurts lol

"Usseewa" is a messy way of saying "Urusai(noisy)".
Used when cursing.
Bakugo, a character from My Hero Academia who can easily go mad, often uses it.
There are many detailed rules in Japanese life.
They are very careful, but they are used to it because it has been a habit since they were little.
There is public order, courtesy, security and safety there because they follow the rules well with each other.
But sometimes they feel like, "No more! Leave me alone! I want to be free!"
This song expresses the feelings of that time.
if you like "World's Continuation", i sure you gonna love with "kaze no yukue" too!!
it's a simple one but have a lot emotional. Incredible MV&Lyrics
Really enjoy your analysis by the way. I got a lot of knowledge
I would like to add to my previous request of Faust's theme: Alone Infection.
Happy Chaos's theme: Drift.
Im sure someone's said it but you gotta do a whole series for asian kungfu generation or at least a video considering you watched bocci the rock. great video as always jhulian

Well I did, like 4 months ago 😆😅
ua-cam.com/video/wurfkysRTzs/v-deo.html
Indeed that sing is 🔥🔥
Je te conseille d'écouter God-Ish de Ado. Tu verras tu seras choqué quand tu apprendras que c'est une seule et même personne qui chante.
Et Darken de Zutomayo !
