  • 🌸 This softypapa short captures a poignant moment as I stand at the threshold of an abandoned home in Shizuoka, surrounded by the sounds of nature reclaiming its space. The wind moans through the bamboo, leaves crunch underfoot, and a cracked window offers a glimpse into the shadowed past. Here, at the edge of propriety, I pause, respecting the unseen boundaries of property and memory. The gloomy atmosphere and the darkened second floor hint at untold stories, creating a canvas where the echoes of a life once vibrant now whisper to those who dare to listen closely.
    Haiku:
    Wind's haunting whispers,
Echoes of life's past dance here,
    Shadows hold secrets.

Did you ever go to any of these places and feel something almost supernatural about it?

I’ve sometimes felt uncomfortable in places like this, but usually because I’m afraid of bears or boar.
