I'm still shocked with all the hellcat swaps no one is swapping a viper engine into a charger or challenger like get a used R/T challenger stick shift to be the base .....future project for this channel fingers crossed
I honestly wasn't going to reply until that last comment. 1 I see dodge viper engines all over eBay. 2. Hellcat engines are heavier than the viper v10. 3 2jz, Rb, 4g63 engines are rare and people still find away to get them. In 2024 nothing is hard to get anymore
The Gen 4 GTS was my favorite one however I cannot deny that the Gen 5 AC are the best viper. I believe I have more wins with the Gen 4 GTs on Forza than any other car😊
Here is a viper story for you when I was 19 and in the US Army I was stationed at Ft Stewart and in the town outside of the base there was a dodge dealership and they had a first Gen viper and if you wanted to test drive the car you had to put down a 25,000 dollar deposit just to test drive it
I always loved the Viper. I had a model R/T 10, the GTS coupe lived on my wall, and because I was a Corvette guy, endlessly argued with my classmate about which car was the American king. But both cars lived in my Gran Turismo garage
I've actually ridden in and heard (never driven) the first and second gen and the side pipes sounded pretty bad, like a truck on each side and the tail pipe version was a far more proper sound......
This truly upsets me as the viper has always been one of my dream cars, if you think there pricey in the US, look how much they cost in the UK double the US price in pounds :( if they sold more it would be easier to obtain for us Brits. #Viper
I think with Fiat taking over again, they should take that V10, shift it behind the driver, lengthen the rear window, and re-release it to compete with the C8 and GTD.
I have a friend that bought a first gen Viper. When he bought it the salesman told him "you better get one, because they'll never have any more power than this".
If that's true then get around that by making a small amount of new ones at a super high price if the number of cars is low enough the can get around some stuff like some foreign high end sports car
I would rather have 5 point harnesses than those damned gas bags. I call "air bags" gas bags since you would nof want to breathe the gas in those bags. When gas bags deploy they can cause SERIOUS harm to hearing, and if you wear fragile sunglasses they can fragment and cause eye loss.
The car was crude and barbaric even compared to the less exlensive Corvette car was built with a total lack of refinement. I guess to some speed is the most important thing. I had a 2004 to use for about a week back then and for the sole purpose of driving like an idiot it was adequate but for any other purpose no.
Snag the limited edition Viper merch! 🎉 bit.ly/IdealMerchForSale
What death of a legend would you like to see next?!

cause viper engines are rare… you can find a hellcat engine&transmission on every block.
Most of these F-ers can't drive stick either 😅
Especially the weight of them

And 4 use the R/T Manual transmission because it's the same one that's in the manual SRT models
SRT-10 Hennessey Venom will always be my favorite Viper
Same

How about that bright green Kermit viper from Oklahoma, an open-air adventure for sure!
Nice shirt!
The car is so powerful it naturally gravitates to crashing into trees 😂
law of attraction.

John Elway drove Vipers.

Very sad...
The Viper will be back in about 5 years, but only as an electric supercar.
Sounds like bs to me they still sell convertibles from other brands where are their side curtain air bags?
I have a friend that bought a first gen Viper. When he bought it the salesman told him "you better get one, because they'll never have any more power than this".
Aye mates, Mopar or no car.
The death of the car known for trying to kill its drivers.
ironic isn't it? xD

😏 The Vipers only dead when the owners stop driving them.
Driving them keeps the dream alive!
Shows why dodge sucks at keeping good CARS
But why they don't make sixth gen whit airbags?
If dodge still made this the porsche clowns would stop meat riding the gt3
Now I can afford it and make it luxury
First 😎
Bro it weights less then my BMW 328 💀
yeah, having the Viper go away for the engineers or the company not wanting to put in side airbags is dumb as sh**
Death 💀 na bro the viper is still up there.

I would say, the ACR's wing is so mthfkn wide that it swept the f*ck out of the British colonizers and screaming Bald Eagles aggressively🦅🦅🦅🇺🇲🇺🇸🇺🇲
