Once they removed HBO, my willingness to keep a plan from a carrier for 80+ for one line went away. I just keep Visible or US mobile now for 35$ per line.
After switching from T-Mobile to US Mobile, for a single line user, I cannot ever imagining going back to a post paid plan ever. Buy unlocked phones from Apple/Samsung/Google, and just save tons of money with prepaid companies.

AT&T does offer really good discounts for state employees, unions and emergency responders. You also forgot to add with certain Verizon plans, they knock off 50% of data cost for tablets, watches, etc
Very good and helpful comparison, but there are 3 points worth mentioning that might. 1. Tmobile's international plan does not cover calling, so each call costs additional, 2. Verizon's phone become unlocked after 60 days, making Verizon, no only the best international options, but also allowing families to activate 2nd SIM/eSIM when traveling! 3. If you in ATT Fiber footprint, you can bundle ATT Wireless and Fiber and save additional money, might also be the same for Verizon FIOS, but I know T-mobile does not offer residential fixed line internet.
Post paid makes sense if you have multiple lines (at least 3, preferably 4) and you take full advantage of the phone deals they give out. Otherwise stick to prepaid. Plenty of good options including Helium, US Mobile, Mint, Visible, among others
As someone who works at T-Mobile and was with att for 9 I can say that T-Mobile is the better deal in most cases. If on the go5g+ plan you may less total promotion value at 830 but that covers the cost of most phones that are on offer and a big chunk of the ones not totally covered and on top of that the upgrade cycle is 2 years instead of 3 with AT&T and that makes it have a value that the others simply don’t have imo
In my country my phone plan 5G data, hotspot data, call & message all unlimited combine with home fibre just $46/month damn those plans in US is expensive for less.
I switched to Cricket and pay $360 for the whole year for unlimited everything. Only thing is no hotspot. So what is your complaint? Details please, not just bitching! Did you work for the other 2 "companies"? How can you make that comparison?
I need an at&t plan to be able to unlock my iPhone later. I don't know if the iPhone is a popstpaid or prepaid unit. The ebay seller never specified the origin of the unit. I called Apple and everything was in order (not stolen or blacklisted). It had Apple Care at that time (not anymore). At&t CSR was also clueless about the prepaid or postpaid status of the phone.
Stetson do you think the premium plans still stack up with each other? Att just lowered the priority of premium. Which has the better value? T-Mobile Verizon or att with these recent changes.
You can see on the chart for 3 lines that if you ignore the phone cost, the TMobile essentials is $111 with taxes vs over $150 for ATT. TMobile 5go+ plan is $150 for 3 lines with tqxes and new phones are paid off in 2 years instead of 3 at att. I plan to switch to Tmobile 5go+, get new phones and after 2 years dowgrade to essentials until we need new phones (about 5 years for us). I don't need to pay for upgrade rights I don't need for years 3-5.

You failed to mention that you can pay a little extra and you won’t be tied into the 3 year upgrade, you just say it’s 3 years, with the AT&T next up you just have to pay half the price and you can upgrade
I hate that this wasn’t mentioned either, but I don’t think $6/month qualifies as “a little extra”. $72/year just for the option to be able to upgrade & start from nothing. No trade in value. No promo money off the new phone…nothing! It’s almost like paying $72 more towards the device (but it’s really going in AT&T’s pockets) to be able to just hand it over for a new one AFTER also paying off half of the device, which with AT&T = 1.5 years. If u previously traded in a paid off device for credit towards the new one, u forfeit the rest of those credits, pay the upgrade fee, AND have no promo credit towards the new device with a $25-$50/mo device credit (+$6/mo. next-up fee continuing) AT&T made next up optional & Verizon didn’t. That explains their estimated $5/mo increased plan prices.

You can always pay off the phone early. You have to stay to get the credits as the trade in credits come over a 36 month period. We left ATT for a number of reasons, including we were NOT getting the promised credits when we traded my wife's iPhone XR back in 2021. Happening to me apparently my bill was going to be lower and it’s $120 lol and paid $200 my first month
They stole my $250 down payment on a phone a couple years ago.. took it then charged my bill as if I didn’t give a down payment. I gave up on trying to get it right after more than a year of phone calls and in person and everyone saying we can’t do anything about that take it up with the store you bought it from and we can’t do anything about that you have to call AT&T customer service.. just back and forth and back and forth
I just checked cricket wireless imei both unlimited family plans. The 1st 4 lines unlimited data are for 4 for $100 with throttled data and 4 lines for $130 unlimited data that is not throttled not $167.78 that you mentioned in this video. The $160 is is for 5 lines for the unlimited plan that is not throttled. I use cricket wireless myself. I'm on the unlimited $60 plan since my data is not throttled and you need a vpn to bypass the 480p sd streaming since there is no way to turn off 480p streaming. I use a vpn so I can watch 4k youtube videos for much as I want on my mobile data. The mobile data hotspot is throttled to dial up speeds once the 15gb of mobile data hotspot is is used up.
Yeah I have the elite plan with max for now. But if they take that away I'm immediately switching to T-Mobile.
T-Mobile would be good "IF" they had a good connection!! BUT... I call in at least every other day due to POOR connection!!
Thank you Stetson for this amazing informative AT&T video. In my area AT&T works wonderfully and paying a very few more dollars isn’t gonna make us really switch for now.
HOWS ATT IN RURAL AREAS?
Super helpful and informative. Thanks a bunch 👍.
Thank you Stetson. All your videos are great and so helpful.
Hey! Great video!
Thank you!
Verizon went up 3 bucks a month per line
These plans are still expensive.
Do cricket wireless $60 plan give you real premium data
I just switched because they added DR…
n77 from AT&T disappeared from my home area so hopefully your map will notice severe and sudden coverage regression
Bruh... I was thinking about switching from Tmobile to this... THANKSSSSSS
Come to visible wireless and save so much money 💰
Nothing competes with Visible $25/month
glad to see you back
I wasn't even thinking about t-mobile till now
my bill is $36 a month still
AT&T 5G is absolutely the worse connection service I have ever had.
Bro. In romania we can even stream 8k videos on 6€ Cellular plan with unlimited data, calls, sms in romania. Just imagine paying almost 100€ for a cellular plan
But how much do u make an hour ?
@@esehavek1 an average romanian makes like 700$ due to our corrupted prime minister that sustains the fact that a family can live with that money
Wow what an evil country msnbc was right
Why are those cell phone plans so expensive in the U.S. compared to similar European (EU) plans? The same goes for cable/fiber home internet connection. Outrageous prices. Compared by purchase power, European providers offer far better and more affordable deals for equal or similar services.
Are they trying to make people leave att by raising their prices because that is what will be happening.
Nope, not switched. Still on old 4G ATT plan 😀
ATT changes their plans every year and it never benefits the customers.
Verizon supports mix & match plans.
AT&T does as well.
I have two phones on my AT&T account and have been paying over $200 per month. My iPhones are paid off and in great condition so I want the best plan for the least $ and I’m willing to change companies even though I’ve been with this company a long time!! Here for advice! I’m poor now and I have to stop wasting money! Please help
Bro stop stringing people along just say what PL SL EL stands for. Video was frustrating as hell.
I appreciate your feedback, thank you!
Finally they have high speed in mexico when I travel 2022 to mexico speeds where 2G speeds hopefully know is fast .
AWFUL service. terrible coverage and service. Took me 5 hrs to get a phone now 48 hours to switch. total pain in the Azz.
While I really wish you would post more often but when you do upload a new video, I know it is going to be good!
I’m going to switch to boost infinite by the end of this year
Boost is horrible
It is
I have the AT&T premium and metros $40 unlimited promo plan and my grandma has AT&T 4GB plan because she doesn’t use data
Yep take away my HBO max and I'll cancel same day
YEEESSSS I’n grandfatherd in!!!
Stetson I am back!
WELCOME BACK!!! 🎉
You’re right. I will leave if they change my elite plan lol.
Why do all these companies keep regressing in their naming and keep making things worse... facepalm
AT&T is good for a family plan especially if you pair it together with your home internet. The bad part is that AT&T has sensitive network. I tried t mobile on my second device and it work perfectly fine in underground parking and it work as well as a produce cooler and still got signal. While AT&T when I go inside these places I get SOS. Also T mobile has stronger 5g 🤷♂️ AT&T has 5g but doesn’t reach there speeds 🤦♂️🤕.
CONSUMER ALERT!!
AT&T mobile is rated 1.3 stars out of 5 possible stars on YELP! 80,000 reviews. I’ve never seen such a low score. I signed up for 6 lines in 8/24 with a promise of $194 mo. 1st bill was for $600 (6 weeks). 2nd was $280, 3rd and 4th were for $269. Every visit to store and they say it will be corrected on the next statement. Outreach to District Manager is ignored. It’s obvious they want you to give up in frustration. Don’t be their next victim!!
At&t is the worst. Rates keep going up and service is non existent. I got 1-2 bars everywhere since the 5G rollouts in 2021. Switched to Verizon and it’s blazing fast. Couldn’t be happier.
Watch out scammers pretending to be AT&T my mom recently got scammed.
This right after the nasty outage they had a few days ago lol
You do realize the vast majority were unaffected right? Less than 1% of their customers were affected, literally.
It sucked sure. But largely most customers weren't affected.
@@whitetigergrowl we were all effected here in South Florida. I work property management. And every last one of our customers, venders, contractors, and co-workers had no service. And if it was less than 1% AT&T wouldn’t have even mentioned it.
Just went to T-Mobile after 24 years. F AT&T. This is outrages. Charging people more to use the fastest speed.
How do you like t mobile?
Yea I’m not switching 💀
Hi Stetson Great Video I’m on Unlimited Premium right now hope that my plan won’t get changed ngl
500GB of data on Verizon 👀 practically unlimited for most people 😅
Love my Verizon postpaid Get More plan
