Glad you discovered and liked it. I'm not sure you can ever go very wrong with anything Muppet -- not even The Dark Crystal, which is sort of about a Muppet planet.
Idk, muppet wizard of Oz was kinda bad. I liked the idea, but I was hoping to see something akin to return to Oz meets dark crystal meets muppets Christmas Carol. But instead it felt like the mgm movie with the muppets and some elements of the book
Thanks for insisting. I am enjoying these first time watching reviews so much so it was also a pleasure to share it. More of them will eventually be made to the public but for now the members get to see them first. Yay!😀
@@RetroNerdGirl you get twice the money for the same project you help your members and then you help the general public I think these things are great I found movies I never would’ve thought of before myself. I’m clicking the pen and adding it to the list :-) have a great day. See you later.
Which version did you watch? Cause in the extras on Disney+, they have the full length version with the song when love is gone, which makes the scene when Scrooge and Belle breaks up all the more sad especially when you see older Scrooge singing with her. Apparently they cut the song from the theatrical run because they thought it was too sad, but then added it to the VHS release, which was my personal introduction to the Christmas Carol story. But then was taken out of the dvd release because they lost the scene. Only for a couple years ago, the scene was found and re-added back into the film.
@@RetroNerdGirl it was the theatrical cut, but if you go into the extras, and at the bottom, they have the full length version with the song when love is gone. I would say give it a watch because it makes the movie that more emotional I feel.
Where ever you find love it feels like Christmas. Yeah I could see you Crying at certain Scenes, and If your Version had "When Love is Gone." it's a song that would Make you Cry, Yes This was Directed by the Son of Jim Henson. The Muppets are a Family Owned Company. Michael Caine Plays an awesome Scrooge. Gonzo does a Wonderful Job, Telling the Story. Well If You Read The Credits it says The Great Gonzo as Charles Dickens. It was dedicated To Jim Henson and Richard Hunt. Karen Prell is best known as Red Fraggle in Fraggle Rock, She was also The Voice of The Worm in Labyrinth. Yeah I thought Christmas Present would be one of your Favorites, and you'd Be like Scrooge, No, he can't leave, I want More. Scrooge Dances with Present, It's a heartwarming Scene, and I can see you Crying at certain Points of Christmas Present. Yeah this was Back when CGI was a Tool and not Some Deus Ex Machina.
I’m not sure if it’s in your plans or if you’ve ever done it yet but you need to really release these to the general world population after the members have had 30 days to review them or less or whatever you need to cut loose these thoughts on movies onto the Internet, so the whole world can enjoy your enthusiasm and knowledge if you’ve already done this then disregard But thank you so much

Don’t forget Farscape!
Can't go wrong with the Muppets.
Yayyy!!!
Agreed on Belle. She was amazing.
This movie was my childhood. Great review.
I've got the beat up old VHS. Rizzo is my guy. Love it too.
"Avarice and Greed" are from the Eiger Sanction as spoken by "Mr. Dragon". The original speaking is probably ancient. K, no more nerding.
Muppets are always charming to me at all times
I agree!😀
Tiny Tim is played by Kermit’s nephew Robin by the way.
Thanks for putting this out

I'm not sure, but I saw it on Disney plus. It felt like that scene was too short, so it may have been the theatrical.

You need to release this strike while the irons hot :-)
Any chance you could do a review on the movies Krull and Legend?
They are both on my list for sure. 😀
