No composer is better at generating atmosphere. Dune has such a unique soundscape where the world is so integral to the score and vise versa. I cannot imagine Dune sounding any more perfect than what Hans and the sound designers made.
Hans, continues to stun me with every project he works on. He puts so much care and detail in to making his sound pallete and his Cubase template is changed for each and every single film. All of the sounds that he loves to design mainly on Zebra 2 ..the custom HZ edition by U-HE ..he designs himself for each movie .and the never uses them again! The way he works is inspiring, hes fully committed to his team that works with him and his chosen cast of musicians that help him bring the score to life in the live recording process. Its a commbination of virtual work and live recordings. There are truly so many great composers in the world. Dune One OST caught me off guard because i had NEVER heard anything like that ..and it greato neme........This Part 2 soundtrack sent me flying through the roof and back down in to my chair....and i completely blew me away. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?! LOL Hans you and everyone have outdone yourselves again. I wish i could say it directly to your face. Thank you for bringing this incredible experience to all of us. As a composer myself, I'm truly inspired, I definitely don't want to copy you because i have m y own vision, the soundscape that's been developed for this movie is un (*U(@*%R# real!! lol. Thank you for the inspiration...and please. i know you wont ever change. I know you do this because you love it, your masterclass taught me alot about you, and dont just hear it in the music...i feeel it every time. (now people don make fun of me :P). Just showing gratitude to he Man who has changed film music in so many ways and broken "rules" which i knoe he loves . and i love and because of that this is why Hans Zimmer deserves o be called "The Best, and most Innovative " Film composer" over the years. Dare i say all time..because i think i will get roasted by some people :-). There's alot of greats. Hans has just delivered so many bombs that i listen to over and over again and never get tired of and I listen to others as well,,,,but i keep going back o the same ones ... i'll never get sick of tfhem. Dune Part 2 added to the list.. About to go and See the movie in Imax ASAP
Never read the book. Didn't see the old movie made in the 80s. Tbh didn't even know dune existed. The only reason I went to see the first movie is because I found out that Hans was the composer for the sound score. I really enjoyed Dune part two and im looking forward to a third film.
Just when you think Hans might have lost a step, he hits you with dune part 2 and you realize oh yeah that’s why he’s the greatest composer along John Williams and Ennio morricone
Are you unable to decipher between someone pausing to make sure they are accurate, and someone pausing to obfuscate what they may intend? He’s clearly being earnest, try again
What in the fuck are you even talking about lol what a garbage take. Hans DIDN’T work with Nolan on Tenet BECAUSE he got the opportunity to score Dune which he’s loved since he was a teen. And he’d never turned down Nolan before soooo you’re wrong. You’re so wrong lol.

What a caring human. He spends a lot of this interview complimenting and praising other people over himself.
No composer is better at generating atmosphere. Dune has such a unique soundscape where the world is so integral to the score and vise versa. I cannot imagine Dune sounding any more perfect than what Hans and the sound designers made.
I just watched the movie and at this point it's not human anymore how much depth Hans Zimmer is able to bring into a movie...

Hans Zimmer the GOAT

Even a Hans interviewer is in stereo
Brilliant!
dammn that toilet PVC instrument went hard in the film
what a guy!
What is this background music? It's beautiful.....
Titane - ELFL
Enjoy!
“ my secret for part two was less Melody so I can quadruple the thrashing noise”
I actually thought that the soundtrack for Part 2 sounded more melodic than the first.
The interview is kinda low lmao
I think Hanz was high on C
‘Substance and meaningful entertainment’ says a channel that immediately starts to edit interesting bits out of what Hans Zimmer is saying
Everything he has said - is in the interview. We have not deleted a single second.
Hans himself would feel uncomfortble rewatching this, he had to dig deep and talk like a politician here, round and round saying very little
I'm genuinely interested - Is the implication he didn't enjoy working on this movie? I can assure you Hans wasn’t hiding anything here

@@jonnowocky8179 I agree with you. I’ve seen countless Hans interviews and he doesnt say something he doesn’t mean
@@WM-tl7zwthat's just how he talks.
