    CAMP COVE BEACH SYDNEY 🇦🇺
Cute little Camp Cove is the Sydney beach of your dreams. A skinny arc of golden sand backed by private beach houses and palms and lapped by gentle turquoise water, it’s only 262 yards long but makes up for its small size in charm. Camp Cove is located near Watsons Bay, just inland from the harbor’s South Head.
    LOCATION
Camp Cove is an eight-minute walk from Watsons Bay Wharf, which you can access by taking a 23-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay. Buses run to Watsons Bay from Bondi (380, 24 minutes) and the city center (324 or 325, about 50 minutes). There's limited parking near the beach. Don't leave without exploring Watsons Bay, Australia's oldest fishing village, whose tranquil lanes are now lined with pastel flower-fringed cottages. From the wharf, turn left up Marine Parade, then take Cove and Pacific streets; or, if you’ve arrived by bus at the top of Robertson Park, walk along Cliff Street from Military Road.
    FACILITIES
Headlands at each end of Camp Cove offer changing rooms with toilets and shady picnicking spots. There's an outdoor shower at the beach's north end beside Camp Cove Kiosk, which sells snacks, drinks, and popsicles. Alternatively, back at the wharf, Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel’s all-day Beach Club serves delicious beer-battered fish and chips, fried calamari, burgers, and salads, plus refreshing cocktails, on three alfresco decks with harbor views. Next door, the fancier Doyles restaurant serves seafood on outdoor tables. You’ll find ice cream stands and cafes on Military Road.
    ACTIVITIES
This delightful minuscule beach offers sheltered swimming and waves so mild you can do laps. There's also great scuba diving and standup paddle boarding.
