Still my favorite map bu a good margin. I absolutely love this map. I just never tire of it like other maps. The Rocky Mountains map is my number two, but even that I don't even hunt probably half as much, and that's a great map too.

Found your videos which are great, so thanks for making them.
Dont know what I am doing wrong but I am lucky if I get any kill once every 12-16 hours of real game play.
Saw lots of deer at 350 meter ran to 250, crouched from 250-201 and then prone from 201 to 150 and by time I get close every deer or animal is gone like the wind.
really enjoy hunting white and black tail - thanks again for another great guide

Trying to find these coyoto drinking spots for the "story missions" is very difficult! At least I know what type of gun to use when I find the stupid things.

Barely any minutes after I saw this I went to one of the moose locations and I saw the biggest moose I’ve seen it was diamond potential but was a gold
i bring with me a cb 60 bow with 420 and 6oo gr arrows, the .243 ( for coyote ) the zarza 308 for everything and the 22LR for ducks. all without backpacks :D

When do they usually arrive at their need zones.
I find myself starting at 0:00 and waiting a while for coyotes to spawn just for them to hide in the tall dry grass lol.
Your telling me I've basically thrown away countless rare black bears! I've killed tons of cinnamon and blonde black bears and about 4 brown ones. I had no idea they were rare!

Thanks for more excellent content! Your skills are insane. Could you please answer one question that I can’t seem to find an answer to. Roughly how many whitetail deer do I need to kill before spawning a legendary whitetail great one. I have 64 drink zones and have slayed almost 2000 but still no legendary 😞
Thanks so much Shelsey! As far as spawning a Great One whitetail, it's random. Some people it will only take 500 kills and others it will take 5000 kills. Just keep shooting and he will eventually spawn! My first and only Great One whitetail took me 2700 kills in Layton. No Great One. Then went to Rancho and he took me 4,576 kills in Rancho! But with Red Deer, my first red deer great one took me 4,400 kills but then the grinds got easier! 2nd one took 2,180, 3rd was zero (initial spawn), 4th took me 798, 5th took 498 and 6th took me 2,200 so it can vary greatly! Good luck! You can do it!

I have been using the 8-16x scope and that is swayed too much....lol (I like to snipe them from 250 to 330 meters). It seems like the diamonds always spook if I am withing 200m from them. If there are many animals around the diamond, they also run and alert the diamond ones. I haven't got the coyote diamond yet even I got the vital and dropped on the spot (that is the only legendary coyote I saw and shot).
You also can use the 7mm on moose
I just got my first piebald whitetail in Rancho and a potential diamond it went up to 273 but it was a gold

Whitetail deer by for my most favorite to hunt.
About two minutes ago I’ve seen a big level four diamond potential. He didn’t have any front padles or whatever you call them. I was about 400 m away. Shot him with the 300. And I messed them up. I hit the spine and he was a diamond.

They were added after the guide was made. I found feed zones around lookout towers. They feed 4-11 & 14-20

Turkey are so hard to find in Layton! I found a bunch around the lookout towers below the Balmont Swamplands.

Hm my favorite animal on Layton has to be the blacktail deer, with Roosevelt Elk coming in a close second. I found a mela blacktail buck as an initial spawn!

Dream mount in this game is a piebald whitetail buck and doe I got the doe randomly one day…. What are the percentages of the whitetail bucks being piebald?

Is the .300 canning magnum frontier, f.l. sporter 303 virant 22, 243 r.cuomo and the 10mm part of the dlc because im new and i dont have the dlc
i honestly think they should add rabbit dogs into the game because they are hard to basically hunt and more so to find.

I am having a hard time finding any need zones for coyotes in the Mount Leviathan area of Layton Lakes. The one pond you marked didn't seem to have a need zone for any species.
