- The Happy Camper and his canoe buddy Andy Baxter of Recreational Barrel Works heads out on a road trip to Canoecopia 2023 in Madison, Wisconsin. Largest outdoor show in North America. Kevin presents and signs books, while Andy sells his gear. Good times had by all.

It was a crazy schedule. Not sure what I was thinking to agree doing it. Good thing I teach - it was similar to a regular day in the classroom lol

That's awesome! One of these days I'll get down to see Canoecopia but haven't been south of the border since 2022 when our government said I couldn't cross anymore due to covid restrictions. But I guess that scare is over now but I've moved on job wise and don't need to cross anymore although now my love of canoe camping has made me get interested in some events and areas south of the border. So maybe next year?..... We'll see.

I just found this new to me Canadian hard rock band named Crown Lands. I immediately thought of you and some of the other Canadian UA-camrs that camp on Crown Land. I don't think it is for John Denver loving Kevin, but maybe Tim would like them because they have been influenced by Rush.
As a Michigander, I am sorry if you didn't enjoy Battle Creek.
Great way to capture a truly awesome show. For this first timer to be able to experience this was so much fun and the I also had the opportunity to meet so many great people. Kevin... You are a machine... keep them coming... now go get some rest 😉

I'd love to but the show hasn't asked me back for a few years now. Not sure what's up with that. It was always one of my best shows to attend.
