The Belle was a great plane and a symbol of heroism, she completed her tour of duty in Europe and helped our Air Force to take bombing missions to the heart of nazi germany the air crew loses were the symbol of heroism, these guys didn’t question, they just did, without question, accepting the risks, they came to England 🏴 a far cry from their native America, 🇺🇸 they were all heroes, in England, we have a B17, she’s called “The Sally B” and she’s a common sight at our air shows, to mark the respect of the Americans who flew in the war and never came back, she has one engine cowling decorated with blue and white checkered pattern, and she is an amazing sight to see, and like the Belle she stands for everything that is right, against everything that was wrong, and a big thank you to all those brave guys that gave me the freedom I have today, your sacrifice is never forgotten by me, and I just wanted to put this up Stuart, Great Britain
