The comments tell a story of our youth. We grew up pissed off at the world and no one understood us. We were alone. Mad at our parents who were idiots. We wanted to stay up all night and sleep all morning until it was time to do it again. It's funny how after I haven't been teenager for almost 20 years and I've grown so much. 1. Only when you open up and be vulnerable will you expose yourself to others that validate that, no, you're not alone and you can be understood. It takes balls though. 2. Our parents did what they thought was best given the circumstances. ...and I have to remember, they too were angsty teenagers who also thought their parent's had no idea what they were talking about. Our parents are so wise. Just as I am becoming. 3. The morning gives me silence and peace just as the night does. I equally enjoy them both. To me they represent total opposites. How exciting?! Buddy being so open about his depression has given courage to others to open themselves too. Senses Fail brought my sister and I together. I remember Warped Tour 2005 or 06'. Senses Fail started to play 187. 187 was my sister and I jamming out song. My sister and I fought a lot. She'd steal my CDs and I'd beat her up. But....there were some things that did bring us close. The emo music of the early 2000's. Standing in the crowd while Senses Fail played, my social anxiety vanished. We took each other's hand look at one another with a look that didn't even require additional communication and head banged, screamed, sang along with our favorite band. I hope future generations come across Senses Fail and make memories similar to the emo kids of the 2000's. Signing off and going back to being a mom.... I love you all and peace be with you. p.s. Lady in the Blue Dress and Sick or Sane...my faves
When I found this, I immediately went to "To All the Crowded Rooms," and said to myself there's no way he's still going to scream like that during the breakdown all these years later. Then he screamed just like that. This band has always been on a different level than the others from that era, and time has revealed that to be true.
36 years old.. and I never would've made it this far... Let it enfold you, literally saved my life.. x2 times, I was left with scars of my suicided attempt 2 times, not a day goes by that I don't listen to Senses fail.

I heard the song death bed for the first time the day after my dad died of cancer, its crazy how opposite our experiences are, life and death, crazy thing, but you love the fail so we are entwined in our love of music, I hope you bring up your kid with as much love as my dad gave me.
Blasting this in my truck singing harmony with it. Helping me keep this semi between the lines. Thanks for everything over the years! This feels like highschool to me.
It's been 10 years since I first heard All the Best Cowboys and it still goes as hard as it did back then. It's a tragedy they don't play it live more often.
the guitar tones on this are amazing. so many cool licks and ear candy I am hearing for the first time, or that the new players possibly added. Buddy's voice sounds different, but after the first lesson I am used to it, and I like it. I get it. Similar to the change Chris Conley did on In Reverie.
@@idontcare2851 it was a mix of both; but mainly because I did think it was a good mix (at the time) and when it comes in, it comes in hard. When you're setting up a 7.1 system (or higher) having an intro like they did to then come in heavy in pretty impressive.
I have been a huge senses fail fan ever since I got let it enfold you back in high school. I remember the day still searching came out and I bought it and had it on repeat forever. It is still a regular in my CD player in my car. By far this is one of my favorite albums of all time. Saw them at In the Venue in Salt Lake when they were touring this album. Awesome show. Just saw these guys in LA last week. I grew up a short drive from Joshua Tree. I'm sure hearing this live in my home desert would have hit way different.

@@DepletedMindTX damn cool would love to see them here in asia 🥲
One of the greatest bands of my generation, deserve more recognition then they get
Absolutely, one of few bands where the same songs can ramp me up for a night of fun or wrap my depression up like a blanket.
You use the term one of the best bands pretty loosely there bud! These guys are decent but wouldn’t even make the cut in my top 100! Get real lol

Don’t forget to buy tickets and watch the stream of “let it enfold you” for August 5th
I couldn't see the event, will you upload it to your channel? please tell me yes haha
I actually bought the Let it enfold you stream after seeing this. had no idea they were doing this
I remember when these guys were on ECA records and I was working with John (ECA) on a The Prize Fight tour. I'm now old AF, but still listening.
I wonder if the guys(heath, Garret, Dan and Mike) see something epic like this and say "damn, we wrote some good sh*t back in the day"
Indeed! This album is so good
I wish Heath stayed, his vocals complimented Buddy well
