Only just seen this... a huge huge thank you for picking up the blu ray mate... I don't know about you but I used to put the chetas for my games inside the box (or in this case, inside the slipcover :P)
Sometimes bad movies are more entertaining than good ones! Don't knock them until you've tried them 😅 but preferably with a few beers and someone to laugh along with you
You’ll enjoy Incredible Melting Man. Good “B” movie. I enjoyed it. Worth a watch. Body Melt was going OOP and I think now is. I have it too and haven’t watched yet to know or worth it. Enjoy the VS goodness 👍🏼
Melting Man looks stunning, I have the arrow 2k and but the scan here in hdr is incredible, the low price makes me sad and not just because I could have waited but it deserves some love. Assholes looks fun - Charge is poppers. I had to get the AMITYVILLE CURSED COLLECTION (Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes/1992: It's About Time/A New Generation/Dollhouse) before it goes oop and Schoid/X-Ray 4k with the slip, Steel & Lace and Partyline before they also go oop.
From what I can tell, based on their past output, VS licenses or acquires (not sure how it works) a certain catalog, like MGM stuff, Cannon, or, recently Troma, and runs through that catalog. Not everything they put in any month is all from one catalog, but it seems like for several months, at least one or more titles will be from that catalog. So, I'm curious as to what is the next catalog that they will be mining.
Ken I was bad this month. I blew way past my October budget on Halloween movies. I feel guilty. If I had an end of the month audit, my wife would be frowning at me. I love this time of year but I hate it.
I got ‘Aunt Lee’s Meat Pies’ as well, but haven’t watched it yet. I ordered it because I love Karen Black. First became aware of her through ‘In Praise of Older Women’ from the late 70s and have watched some of her more mainstream films since then including, ‘Nashville,’ and ‘Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean.’ With Karen in it, I’ve no doubt it’s going to be interesting!
Assholes is... something else. Body Melt is said to be good. Slaughterhouse Rock is the good movie in that set. Auntie Lee's Meat Pies is underwhelming. Motel Hell is way better. I haven't yet watched The Incredible Melting Man and I don't remember if I bought it, but probably. Damn it, I did. Also got the Sega title. Heroic Times looked interesting, but doubt I'd watch it more than once.
If I were to review VS's 4K output over the last year, they have not come close to when they put out Roadhouse, Texas Chainsaw 2, and Amityville Horror. They really raised the bar with those films, both in terms of the notoriety of the films and the general quality of the transfers and presentations. Since then, really only From Beyond comes close if I exclude the Ultra line which includes Showgirls. They have yet to put out a must have sold out fast title since then. In fact they're most recent 4K output has been pretty bad with some titles that have been clear headscratchers. Massage Parlor Murders was awful, Terror at Ten killer has no business being on 4K, and Gorgo was a big disappointment. It looked like that next film to be a hit because it had a historical cachet, and was slightly out of their usual lane. But it was a bad transfer, likely due to bad source, and the film was just odd, although you could appreciate the effects work.
I also got "Body Melt" and the moment I saw it I'd wish I could keep those bucks to kill myself. Boring and unfunny (while it thinks it is!), no tempo, no plot, no nothing. There are a few good gore effects here and there but, man oh man is this a BOTTOM LEVEL NOTHINGNESS!
Talk about some bottom of the barrel movies you got. Bc the only one you got that is worth owning is incredible melting man on 4k. Bc all the rest are bottom of the barrel releases and not worth owning. But I will say Slaughter house rocks is a pretty good horror movie. But hard Rock zombie is complete garbage. I will say this vinegar syndrome does amazing job on all there releases in transfers and in extras. But that does not mean all there releases are worth owning. Bc vinegar syndrome releases are more a pass then a buy. I would say 80 percent of there releases are a pass and 20 percent are a buy
I track every purchase and sale on a spreadsheet because otherwise, like you said, I'll forget what I bought.

Yeah they come under the so bad that they are good category
We need the audit!
Man, I couldn't wait to get rid of Hard Rock Zombies when I got it in my subscription package.
Yeah it was a big disappointment for me...
@@griffredux9966 I remember the month it came out, I think there was a good title that was in the subscription package. The other ones were all bad.
Aunt Lee’s Meat Pie It’s not bad we enjoyed it.,
I will definitely watch it again.
I want the monthly audit on all this!
I haven't seen Annie Lee's Meat Pies... but it's got Karen Black in it... so it has to be fun. 🎉
and Mr Miyagi!

The way you said "I got Assholes" reminded me of Lloyd Christmas saying "I Got Worms" 😂
😂😂

Um, Body Melt is amazing. It's genuinely a good movie.
I was on the VS train for Roadhouse and Amityville Horror than I jumped off.
I just don’t see much in their catalog that I want I buy.
The bottle with the lightening bolt on it is called "Poppers." It is an inhailant.
You have to be careful when ordering from Vinegar Syndrome as they have a slipcover selection and a standard selection (no slipcover).
Damn!...so much to buy these days.
Endless media!!!

Hard Rock Zombies - 4/10
Slaughterhouse Rock - 6/10
Auntie Lee's Meat Pies - 6/10
Incredible Melting Man - 4/10
Body Melt - 6/10
You still play Sega games Ken? I like them
Incredible melting man is truly truly awful. It’s claim to fame is that it was one of Rick Baker’s first movies
Watched that one today. I liked it
@@dduffee64 madness
@@TheOneTrueBeardI couldn't even finish that film
I watched that one a few days ago it was alright nice practical effects

The only reason that I know Body Melt is because Robert Meyer Burnett cites it as the first title that made him aware of Vinegar.
