@Nischa, I discovered you through a CNBC article that linked to your UA-cam channel. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the first video I watched was about journaling. I have to say, your content is well-organized, thoroughly researched, and backed with references. Most importantly, the flow of your videos is engaging. I rarely subscribe to new channels, but I've decided to break that rule for yours. I feel a connection with your content, as if we're on the same wavelength. Keep creating videos-you're doing an awesome job. UA-cam needs quality content like yours.
I always use journaling to keep track of things I want to do, my thoughts etc., which helps me sort of feel organised and no task goes unnoticed of. Came across this quote somewhere "Brain is for generating the ideas but not to store them"!!! Looking for more such content from you Nischa.
YEEESSSSSS!!!!!! Amen my friend. I've been journaling since 1989 and it has changed my life, I pray, I scream, I dream, I vent. Its help me work things out. I'm hooked! thank you for this affirmation and I'm so excited you've tapped into this amazing space of journaling. You are beautiful, brilliant and bold. thank you for creating this channel, I LOVE IT!
Glad you’re here Nischa. The last couple weeks I have reread my journals from the last 10 years. There is something magical what you learn about yourself when you do. It does help you narrow your goals. Thanks for the video. I enjoy this and your financial ones.
I didn't want to watch this video because I felt it wasn't related to finance, hence was uninterested, but decided to watch cause I've always gotten value from your videos and was convinced this video will also give value, thankfully, I made the right decision to watch, fan love from me Nishca.
I love that your videos are short but clear and practical. You go straight to the point and I love that. Great to see you talking about journaling as it helps so much with getting mental clarity. Keep up the good work!
Honestly cannot wait for your future videos that are non-finance related! Thoroughly and used your financial advises in my day to day life and so far being able to keep track of my money makes me happy bit by bit in my debt free journey
I am so excited for your non finance content. As a woman, i would love to see more content from you about what new things are benefiting you. Please keep sharing more non finance content ,its really helpful.
Hi, Nischa! What a timely video for me. I've been considering to begin journaling, but had no clue where to start or what to write. Now I have a little more direction. Thank you for this video.
I have been listening to you for some months but writing first time .....fact of the matter is that i have been doing same unconsciously for so many years .....i just feel good so its my habbit....thansk for explaining so many benifits of journaling ....your videos are always inspiring and helpful....infact i practically apply your suggestions in daily life.....there is a bit similarity between your story and mine..."..toughest descision of my life was to quit a job and ...."....please keep up the good work!!!
Love that you were able to step out and expand your creative side, i ironically had not watch a bunch of your recent videos as I feel finance content (For me personally) does get repetitive and also because its more long term habits and changes instead of a daily I tend to revisit the topic every couple months or so to reeducate and adjust, Hope that makes sense! would love to see more like this 😄
Every month I go through my finances on my spreadsheet and I have a little corner where I journal on how I did that month. I would write out where my weaknesses and strengths are, what I need to work on, and the game plan for the next month. I started that journaling corner because I thought it’d be useful if I ever feel lost or not good enough on my finances I could just refer back to that. But watching your video this morning you made me realize that with how much journaling has helped me on just a monthly basis I should do it more often but personal journaling (maybe on a weekly basis to help me get started). Anyway I’m glad I saw watched your video this morning, and I’m happy to hear the making of this video helped heal your passion for making helpful videos, thank you and have a nice day.
I restarted journaling and it's made a massive difference to manage my anxiety. It provides a place where I can freely write in an unstructured way to just get the thoughts out of my head. Once released, the emotion clears (mostly), which allows me the space to problem solve. It also helps me find thought patterns, provides a place to cheer for myself, and really process my accomplishments.
I think journaling can help by writing down the events of the day you can help yourself in progressing and start eliminating all the negativity around you. You are also quite helpful and knowledgeable, and I do enjoy watching and listening to your channel. Keep up the amazing work you do, and the information you provide is priceless.
Thank you. I try to watch you from from a financial standpoint weekly and started this by accident. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have been wanting to journal for a few months now and want sure where to start. Or what to write. There have been some major things going on in my life but I would always come up blank when writing.
I started journaling when I was in my early teens. It really helped to get all my emotions out. I got paranoid that someone would read it, so I ended up throwing it away. I've started journaling again and really enjoy it. It's the one time I get to write on physical paper instead of typing
Great video and relevant content, despite not being strictly about finances! Journaling is truly a great thing, which is often regarded as something only introverts will do. However, while extraverts share all their ups and downs with people and expose themselves to the pressure of expectations, introverts write journals to process it all))
What a fabulous book, Nischa, I read Julia Cameron's book about 15 years ago and it was eye-opening. I reduced the journaling more to a bullet-point writing and keep it short and crispy. Thanks for sharing, 🤩
I'm starting a 120-day challenge and don't want to fall off, so I've found an accountability partner to keep myself accountable (My therapist). Thank you for sharing your knowledge, I'm here for the self-improvement content.
Another great video Nischa! 😊Journalling is such a fantastic tool with many health benefits. I find it really does help with unblocking and improves creativity. I tried audio journalling for the first time during the pandemic at work and it was fantastic. You get to hear your emotions and it helps you connect your thought processes across time which is good for your cognitive wiring. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Keep up the amazing work, something to be super proud of! :)
Thats a really interesting idea! Though if anyone is concerned about privacy, i would really not recommend writing onto an electronic device. And even less some app in a browser. Paper is much more private. If it really should be private and a electronic device, a cheap old tablet or notebook with all networking/wifi/bt/... hardware physically removed can be used. (there are still ways to leak information from these but its probably "good enough")
Absolutely agree on insights and memories (I think this benefit is generally ignored). Recently we went on a 1 year world trip and I wrote daily journal about few places - what we saw/did, what we felt, good and not so good parts and so on. Reading it back was much more memorable and interesting than looking back at our photos.
I like the direction of your channel 😃 I would say I have control in my finances. But it’s something in my life that doesn’t feel right. I think this video is going to be good for me!
Great video Nischa!! I write a daily comment to myself after my one thousand jump speed rope exercise route. I find short, simple means in is easier to build into a routine.
being able to objectify feelings and small problems has always been a benefit to me in journaling. Your video has given me some other ideas. And thanks for the research behind your presentation.
tried journaling about a year ago. bought a small book and a pen to do it and didn't manage more than 7 days ahaha. i still appreciate the benefits but it just wasn't for me. this video makes me wanna try again but think i'll try something on my phone this time
Handwriting is far more beneficial in respect to brain processes/thinking and processing emotions, as far as I know. There are also studies on this, but I do not have the links in hand.
Hello nisha Thank you for sharing your experience. I am watching you and make sure with my expense as well . Can your please guide me how should I invest the money as beginning?
Lot of folk do vlogging as well, publishing their day to day lives on IG or UA-cam. The younger gen prefer this route it seems than writing in a book or app.
I would love to be someone thst journals but its hard to find the time kids, working, studying. Would uou mind sharing a link yo the journal you mentioned? I can't find that specific one and unsure of thr quality of the others I've found. Appreciated.
After 35 years in the brokerage business there is 1 statistic that I never forgot, it said only 3% of the people can retire on their own-I don’t know if this figure is correct today? 8:30 So remember if you are following the herd you are going the wrong direction. Love your comments Nischa.
Yeah but even if they don't follow the heard the percentage that can retire on their own will likely always be extremely small......... WTF dude you don't know after being in the brokerage business that the vast majority of people never reach 200K per year incomes?
I was watching one of your videos in which you talked about S&P500, and then another video in which you spoke about S&P500 so i closed it in the middle due to same topic, but today when I saw a different topic, it forced me to listen to it.

I've tried morning pages before but life got in the way and the habit didn't last long. I'll use this video as an opportunity to re-engage.
I have been wanting you to do content on the kinds of habits that you do to be the awesome person you are! Thank you!
Thank you for everything you put out there. You’ve been a source of encouragement for me in the course of working toward my goals. Keep it up Nischa!
Love this video and resonated so much. I started Journaling every day a few weeks ago. I have a bright orange journal too! 🧡🙏🧡
I was thinking about starting journaling. Thanks for the push Nischa!

Would love non finance related content too, you are defo someone that can provide value in different areas of life

I’ve done the Artist’s Way and I regret nothing. In fact I need to do it again.
I LOVE your videos. Great content, and so easy to watch :)
Your video is inspired me to do journal...
What is your preference between handwritten journals versus apps? Obviously it's personal choice but are there any studies etc? What's your thoughts?
Handwriting is far more beneficial in respect to brain processes/thinking and processing emotions, as far as I know. There are also studies on this, but I do not have the links in hand.
Hello nisha
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am watching you and make sure with my expense as well .
Can your please guide me how should I invest the money as beginning?
Helpful video. Thank you
Orange and Nischa go hand in hand
I love the sound of your video. What microphone are you using?
Keep up the good work 👍
Hi, did you use any other techniques from the Artist Way book? Would you recommend reading the whole book?
ok ... now since your on the topic of writing/journalling ... do you think writers create the future or predict it?
You are a good soul
What is a title of the journal that you keep showing in this video and where did you get it?
Lot of folk do vlogging as well, publishing their day to day lives on IG or UA-cam. The younger gen prefer this route it seems than writing in a book or app.
Enjoying this video 😊
Could you please do one on app based banks. I was going to sign up with monument but unsure
Awesome video
love this!!!
I’m glad :)

Just linked them in the description!
OMG... I cant do that.. But I will try nichu
I used to journal daily before it became a big thing on UA-cam and in the self-development community. Might have to revisit that long-lost habit...
brilliant/nischa
Valued content
You would like the book Quiet Leadership.

Good subject.
Now for those of us who don't really write a lot ( except for maybe here ? lol ) ... what's your take on drawing your ideas?
Morning pages, from The Artist Way
How do you write 3 pages in 5 minutes?
I was watching one of your videos in which you talked about S&P500, and then another video in which you spoke about S&P500 so i closed it in the middle due to same topic, but today when I saw a different topic, it forced me to listen to it.
