Because the story you take has historical fact was taken from text written thousand years before his birth. Was he real? Probably. Is the whole KJ version history? No.
Black people history is much older than the Quran the bible yes much older than any book you might believe in. No one knows when the the first human beings came to existence. Before man started writing thousands of years were already passed.
