I recently got into the first primordial and kinda struggling against this monster, but I cannot lie, his hunts are cool, and seeing someone having not many problems against him is cool af

Having the counter with swaxe makes the fight a lot easier, especially since it is swaxe's most powerful move. If you're still having trouble with him, I'd recommend going into the hunt and just dodging his moves instead of being on the offensive. Learn his move set and when you can go in for hits, and depending on what weapon you use, the best time to counter him.
