When he brought up Test, I said to myself I should have known his time was coming, considering he got fired from WWE and TNA in less than a year in 2007 for the steroids.
He seemed a bit out of place during those news interviews - I didn't mind him talking about drugs, steroids, deaths in wrestling - but that had very little to do with Benoit. A lot of wrestlers died prematurely, but none of them did anything even remotely similar, to what Benoit did, so all Mero did, was he took the focus away from the horrible Benoit act and made vague generalised statements, about a messed up business. I've despised McMahon, since I started reading dirt sheets in the late 90s, and I was never really a wwf fan, I've considered it a joke/circus act for the most part, even as a kid in early 90s, except for a very few instances (early Stone Cold and Bret Hart) - so I don't mind Mero criticising wwf/e, but his criticisms had very little to do with Benoit. It seemed like Mero used the tragedy as a vehicle for his career - that's what all the other wrestlers seemed to criticise him for - he got out of the woodwork to talk about stuff he thought was important, which is cute, but by doing so, he took attention away from everybody else trying to understand what actually happened with Benoit. Probably most wrestlers in the past took all kinds of stuff, hit their heads every day, destroyed their bodies - none of that is healthy, but nobody else did what Benoit did. And that was the topic of the day. Also people who criticised him knew Benoit really well, obviously much better than Mero knew him, of course they said "hey, you haven't been in the business for many years, wasn't close to Chris, have nothing meaningful to say about this particular topic, so why are you on all the news"?
I think it's you know it's so unjust they're treating him like a f****** criminal they don't want to remember Chris Benoit for the great wrestler that he is people call me crazy but I think Chris benoit's the one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and he should be in the WWE Hall of Fame p do you know and they took Jimmy fly stuck up out of the WWE Hall of Fame which it was wrong can they really prove that Jimmy flash snooker killed that woman
@@JGD185 I'm not going to run some Chris Benoit I will try to talk to him and tell him to get some help you got the WWE The thing for that they knew he was doing steroids they could have gave Chris Benoit an ultimatum to get cleaned and sober I put myself in Chris Brown shoes I'd rather retire because I'm not going to get in a wrestling ring and bust myself up to help them to watch some CEO of some company getting rich at my expense because if I get in that wrestling ring and I get busted up you think Vince is going to give a s*** about a busted up wrestler
@@orlandoramos1878the problem wasn’t just with the steroid use. He had a lot of concussions and prior damage to head/brain using the falling head butt. The inventor of the move Harley Race stopped using and warned wrestlers of the dangers of using it but they continued to use it. 2nd I get where you’re coming from and believe it’s a good place but I don’t believe your tactic would work, only because if his wife and kid couldn’t get to him I don’t thin anyone else could
Thank you for speaking out, Mr. Mero. It's important for someone to be that first voice.
Mero was always a class act.
When he brought up Test, I said to myself I should have known his time was coming, considering he got fired from WWE and TNA in less than a year in 2007 for the steroids.
Whenever the Benoit subject is brought up, all I can say is R.I.P. Nancy and Daniel.
Mero is an inspiration for us all
Would like to watch the complete interview. Like that guy!
The dvd is available
I'm glad that Marc spoke out on the media about the Benoit Tragedy but I never understood his heated argument with Steve Blackman.
What argument?
He thought Marc was trying to get some publicity I thought.
Right, I understood Finlay being belligerent because he was on the WWE payroll, but I would have thought Steve would have been on Marc's side.
Thank God he got rid of that wrinkled bag of silicon
Marc was one of the best founding high flyers to lace up boots. 💯
Sable left Mero amd she said being with Mero was boring compared to Brock.

Petyr Baelish from the Game of Thrones did say: "Chaos is a Ladder"
We need more people like marc, and less people like jericho
Marco! Mero!
It’s a shame that the WWE didn’t know what to do with him! ✌️🤟
