I bought one of my macrame pieces for my house there it's gorgeous and always gets compliments. I just wish I could have done more shopping there, but I would have never gotten it all home. Also, can you by chance do a video on importation fees? I'd actually like to know what they charge...but also is there a difference in those fee's if you bring in furniture from Mexico vs a shipment from the US?

New subscriber here , I have a question , you probably have covered this in earlier videos. I was there less then a month ago via cruise ship . How bad does the hurricanes affect the area in general. And if I have a house built is it difficult to get it air-conditioned. And is there a local ac company to do maintenance. I was told by a tour guide it takes a while to get build materials. And should build 8 ft off ground ? Thx will I really enjoy the informative videos.
Will, what was the cost for shipping that couch etc? You mentioned duties, but how (and how much) are we looking at to get the furniture to our homes - especially given the roads are not great at Secret Beach?

You can ship amazon to one of the companies that ships to Belize in the US like Hyde shipping then they will send it over. Still no direct Amazon access though
Ended up having a truck pick some of the bigger stuff up. Duties came in fairly high around 30%-40% so I would recommend only getting the key items that you can't find in Belize if you do choose to go this route
NO DOGS WILL, UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE CLEANIG POOP AND PEE, ALSO FINDING SOME OF YOUR SHOES CHEWED UP. YEAH THE NEW ONES TOO. SO NO DOGS. I HAVE THREE, SO I KNOW AND YES ONE IS A CHIHAUHAU.

that white couch at the last store looks like my cloud couch they are amazingly comfortable but very expensive
