Just got done watching every one of your 5 skull rift lord videos, even the ones I beat. Idk why but its very entertaining to watch them repeatedly lol. I was wondering, have you ever said your upgrades for each item/weapon? I can guess pretty easily for traps, but item upgrades I'm not sure. Thanks for the amazing videos regardless and hope to see more stuff eventually :) like endless or scramble shenanigans
Edit: Just read your Bio so you can ignore the last little bit lol :) just know that ya gave 1 more person entertainment even after departure

Thanks and glad you got fun out of it. My bio is outdated by many years, lol. Although I just don't regularly upload on UA-cam, only whenever there's something I feel like putting up.

Thank you for the strat, nice one. I five-skulled Rift Lord on this map using this strat with some modifications (instead of three barricade lines, two diagonal ones near top; no spike traps, rift trinket instead).

And TONS of lasers near the end! And lots of tar; had plenty of time left anyway. Although there was a path to the rift going on both left and right sides, no orc ever took it since it was much longer, so barricades not needed to block it. Also, the diagonal barricades were attacked once, but never destroyed. I jumped up and secondary-attacked with stone staff to deal with many flyers.

This was on the Steam edition, 9/5/2021.

Ceiling Laser has been nerfed and Saw Blades have been "bug fixed" (nerfed).

Did they really need to nerf traps even more? they feel like comparing butter to skim milk when you compare them to the first game

Thanks for this guide... I've watched a bunch of your videos and enjoy seeing different approaches. I was wondering if your Shock Zapper traps were set to stun enemies. I thought I saw some fliers take hits but not go down. I thought that fliers instantly die when stunned? Also, when you build your kill box you always start with Ceiling Lasers over Tar Traps and then Spike Traps behind. I was wondering why you don't lay down Spike Traps (with Arcane) in front of the Tar Traps so that the mobs take extra damage from the start?

Thanks, and glad it was useful to you. My Shock Zappers are made to explode enemies. For the Spike Traps, since they go on cooldown after trigger, I want to save them for stuff that survives the initial damage, hence the reason I normally put Tar half a tile in front of the Lasers, then the Spikes activating still affects the enemies that make it to the 2nd row of Lasers.

Their is a glitch on this level that makes it so you lose 1 rift point on wave 4 or 5. I had to redo this level dozens of times, because of it.

Is this still possible after the nerfs?

Should at least replace the Ceiling Lasers with like Frost Dart Spitters, and optionally Sawblades with a different wall trap. Barricade zig-zag is effective under the main bridge.
