Managing the entire production chain - from logs to houses

Our own sawmill makes it possible for us to control the quality of the product throughout the production chain. Using our own sawmill guarantees that we can be sure of the origin and quality of the raw materials. Polar Life Haus sawmill is located in Lehtimäki and the house factory in Töysä, both near some of the best coniferous forest areas in the world. The factory locations are ideal, because the transport distances of materials are short, allowing us to minimise our carbon footprint. The Central Finland region is also where the best quality spruce trees grow in Finland, which is what Polar Life Haus mainly uses to build their log houses. Approximately 95% of our log houses are made of lightly coloured and moistureresistant spruce timber.
