I think ETS 2 will not getting older in the next 10-15 years, because they are still working on expansions for this game. SCS Software is an completely individual company, that is always have been fair and good to its customers. Some other todays game companies are supposed to publish every year a game for the same price, that is completely the same.
And you gotta think about the Maps and DLCs they published til now. In a future ETS 3 they have to be part of the Base Game, cuz reselling them with "fresh" graphics only would be a large scale fraud. Like Dovetail Games did with Train Sim World 2.
@@Tengri30 I agree Dovetail were scummy i hope SCS are above that. Although ETS is in need of a bit of a refresh it's starting to look outdated in my opinion
That extreme trucker game makes me wish for similar style maps and jobs using the ETS 2/ATS engine. Ice road trucking could be amazing with high fidelity graphics and physics.

I bought the GTS,ETS 1&2 when I was roughly 5-6. Best money I've spent. (except tons of other stuff like gt6,csgo,etc.) I used to play ETS2 with my older brothers. They'd crash and destroy cars and if a bug happens,it's just barrel of laughs. I miss 2010-14.
My birthday is November 3, 1997. I am only 5 days older than SCS company. I played most of the games as simulations. 18 Wheel Of Steel series (Haulin, Across America, Hard Truck, Pedal of Metal and ETS 1) Wow I felt old. 😂😂 However I played Dukem Nukem Manhattan Project 😁
One thing i'm curious about, the 18 Wheels of Steel series started off as Hard Truck: 18 Wheels of Steel. That is a successor of Hard Truck 2 (a successor of Hard Truck: Road to Victory) which was made by a different studio. Even Wikipedia mentions there were 2 games with the 18 Wheels of Steel title yet somehow they seem to be the same line of games. What is the timeline on that?
Hard Truck is just a name ValuSoft used to publish some games in USA. Hard Truck and Hard Truck 2 was actually called Дальнобойщики (can be translated as Truckers) and was made by russian studio SoftLab-NSK. They used the name again on 18 Wheels of Steel and then one more time on another russian game Hard Truck Apocalypse (originally called Ex Machina) made in my hometown by Targem Games. The Ex Machina is not even about trucking, it is kinda like Fallout but you're driving and upgrading your vehicle instead of just walking. None of this games is related in any way except the first two.
Wait, Holly shit! I loved bus driver when I was little on PC. Also played some cracked version of 18 Wheels, after I learned to read and a bit of English tried to play it again but was broken on Win 7.

joga snowrunner, vais gostar
@@vashbain3136 eu já jogo kkkk
i cant wait until we reach the east coast! im also exited for missuri, indiana, tennesee, kentucky, and louisianna areas.
3:34 the song and the truck pov matches so perfectly like an action speed movie
Thanks
All these years and they still don't put cabin light function in, which makes it really annoying to drive at night
2:10 when i saw bus driver was here i was preety suprised as it was my top of the list fav game. Its nice to see that devs who made my back in the day fav game made my now fav game too
Bus Driver was my childhood (I'm 21)
I’d love for them to make another “18 wheels of steel - extreme trucker. Especially with the graphics of the games nowadays
We need an Extreme Trucker 3, that stuff looks rad
Wow SCS is a great game developer! I love their games, especially American and Euro Truck Simulator 2. Well, for the next line of series, I do hope they also make Asian Truck Simulator. It will be a great addition to Truck Simulator Series
I've actually played Bus Driver, didn't know it was from SCS...
I remember playing 18 Wheels Of Steel and Bus Driver by them, man those were some good days
Thank you so much for such a kind comment 💖💖💖
I honestly did not know 18 Wheels was an SCS game I had it on my laptop before ETS, I was a kid back then and had not interest in game Devs, SCS has really come a long way.
Wish there's combination of both ATS and ETS.
Nah combination with Microsoft flight simulator 2020
@@MrFunny01 I want no plane to land on my trailer 🤣

18 wheels of Steel: American long haul. My first scs game.
So I'm actually older than SCS. That's pretty scary
Being younger than SCS is like WOW, SCS is THIS old!!!???.. Now I realize how it would feel to be on the other end of the spectrum xD
@@AP_101 being a year older than SCS is like WOW, is SCS REALLY this old!!!??? Makes me feel old by thinking about it xD
I love the pronunciation of Czech names :D
Deer Drive was awesome, I should get that going again !
I played ETS 1 & UKTS and GTS when i was child 😭😭
18 wheels of steel convoy was my very first computer game i ever played
They should make collab with Microsoft flight simulator 2020 and make world transport simulator.
Another great video love your work🔥🔥🙌😍😍
Wow SCS was about a month old when I was born as I was a December 1997 baby
Now I'm waiting Euro Coach Simulator :) (or ETS2 Coach DLC)
Thanks for the information. Love your channel♥️
So nice of you 😍 Thank you!
I am as old as the Hunting unlimited 3 WTFFFFF D: I remember I even bought ETS2 physical copy in JRC gaming store back in 2013 XD . Btw I am so proud of SCS being Czech Company, at least in some part of gaming industry, we are the leaders :D. Greetings from Czechia!!!
2:40 i remember Hard truck 2 called "Dalnoboyshiki(Truckers) 2" here in russia. It was very popular at the time, and now many people still remembers it
the music soundtracks in the hauling and 18 wos games slapped
Older than google???? Wow!!!!
10 months older! 😎
Yeah Google was founded in 1998, making it almost a year younger than SCS.
i remember playing german truck sim and having the only licensed truck be the man tgx
Nice that you used the ets 2 menu music
Finally someone noticed and commented 😁😁😁
Imagine if SCS software released a game called "World Truck Simulator"
I bought the GTS,ETS 1&2 when I was roughly 5-6.
Best money I've spent. (except tons of other stuff like gt6,csgo,etc.)
I used to play ETS2 with my older brothers. They'd crash and destroy cars and if a bug happens,it's just barrel of laughs.
I miss 2010-14.
funny i've played all the 18 wheels of steel games, but never realised they were made by scs lol
I was already familiar with Hunting Unlimited, 18 wheels of steel and obviously ETS 1 and 2 and ATS but I never heard about any other of these before
My birthday is November 3, 1997. I am only 5 days older than SCS company. I played most of the games as simulations. 18 Wheel Of Steel series (Haulin, Across America, Hard Truck, Pedal of Metal and ETS 1) Wow I felt old. 😂😂
However I played Dukem Nukem Manhattan Project 😁
A Bus sim would be a dream come true. I play Bus Sim 21 and imo, gfx wise, I like ETS/ATS. A bus sim on that engine would pe perfect for me.
A bus sim based on the ETS2/ATS engine would probably blow all other ones out of the water

18WOS Convoy in heart forever
they need to make a motorcycle game (a GOOD one. maybe even with multiplayer/social aspect)
Just delivered yacht from Esbjerg, DK to Amsterdam, NL :)
A great evolution video of great game company 🔥
Thank you!
None of this games is related in any way except the first two.
ats was released a day after my birthday, nice
I knew they made hunting games but that many of them? Also Duke Nukem Manhattan Project was alright.
Unfortunately I made an oopsie in research. It was actually made by others using SCS Technology so it belongs in the previous category. Sorry xD
The top and final games released by scs inclunding every states of word..😲😎
SCS needs a competitor to make the game shine
my first scs game was 18 WOS across america I still like it a lot
I Loved the 18 wheels of steel series as a kid and also loved the bus driver series on IOS
Wait, Holly shit! I loved bus driver when I was little on PC. Also played some cracked version of 18 Wheels, after I learned to read and a bit of English tried to play it again but was broken on Win 7.
1:15 Thanks SCS for Subnautica :)
i hope those 14 other truck games are a real thing
They are? I just showed them all one by one?
